Hi Gary. Thanks so much for this video. I run a petrol washer from garden hose, but want to use a gravity fed tank system. This vid has sold the idea to me. Can I just briefly be a pedantic pain in the ass? I just wanted to point out that the GF system with the yellow nozzle did lose 100psi of pressure. It was touching 1500psi not 1600psi. Not much difference though in the great scheme.

What would be the cause of my pressure washer is not working. I’m just getting my daughter started for now just hand car washes to help with her motocross. Got everything set up 3500 generator tank pretty much a full set up. I got home from putting water in the first time in the tank. everything worked fine. My daughter washed a few of her dirt bikes and dropped the tank down to roughly 40 gallons from 60 I believe . but when I went to try to wash my truck the following evening it wouldn’t work. I’ve tried shortening the garden hose from the (y valve, I have mine set where I can fill buckets.) I’ve put the pressure washer on the ground out of the trailer. I’ve made sure their was a decent flow. I don’t have a pressure gauge like you but I can’t figure it out. Don’t know if my pvc is to long from the tank. I have a 125 gallon tank. I really don’t want to run a water pump but if that’s what I have to do to get water to the pressure washer for now then it is what it is. But any advice would greatly be appreciated.

How does this work because when I connect my hose to the pressure washer am I suppose to turn it off every time I stop using it because then the pressure washer starts turning on by itself cause the water is still running ? Or do you have another hose that lets the water out while your not using the pressure washer ?

I'm having a dilema. I have a 1.2gpm Ryobi electric connected to a 50gal gravity fed. When I connect the foam cannon, I only get soapy water, not foam. I'm assuming that the stock orifice to the cannon is 1.25, I am upgrading to a 1.1 smaller orifice, so you think that will resolve my dilema?

They are the generic foam cannons, it does perfectly fine with the pressure from the house spigot but with the tank it's poor.

Haha yea it’s tricky sometimes but the main thing is that you have to get all the air out of the lines or the pressure washer won’t prime.

I've used this sprayer several times now on brick pavers, a wood deck, patio, and a driveway. kzread.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX It has performed as expected on all surfaces. For larger areas like the decks and patios, I think I will be looking into a surface cleaner attachment to speed up the job, or at least make it a little easier. Hose and sprayer connections are tool-less, tight, and quick. I used the yellow nozzle on the concrete/brick surfaces, and the pressure was adequate for cleaning those surfaces.I am disappointed that these units are still being shipped with a nozzle storage holder that allows them to vibrate out of the holder way too easily and become lost, but I don't want to knock off a star for that reason. The functional part of the washer works very well, so I would recommend this product.

Just FYI. The hose outlet has to be lower than the level of the water in the tank for the water to flow. If your water falls below this, pressure equalizes and there is no water flow. This is bad for the pressure washer.

Yes, I’m aware of this that’s pretty basic knowledge. I always have it up higher than the pressure washer. Also, I’ve been doing this for a long time and it still works level with the pressure washer. No issues. Thank you for your concern though.

Quick question. my pressure washer has a problem drawing water from my tank in my setup i have the water tank lifted about 2 inches above the water hose but it still doesn’t have enough pressure for the pressure washer to run properly. Is the only option to add a water pump to my setup? Or is there another possible solution??

While the pressure washer is trying to prime, you need to pull the trigger on your pressure washer going to give the air somewhere to go in the line
