He's a great interview. He's full of excitement.
Hey Andrea, firstly I'd like to thank you for so diligently replying to your viewers' comments, we appreciate it soo much, you have no idea! But also, in future videos with doctors of different specialties can you also ask them what atypical advice they would give to premeds right now ( something they might've struggled with or didn't know the answers to back in undergrad) I'd love to learn from their experiences and improve myself! Thanks again! :)

Thank you so much Dr. Andrea Tooley and Dr. Vaibhav Vaidya !!!! I've been back-and-forth between pediatric cardiac surgeon and pediatric cardiologist. Still undecided but appreciate the clarity. :)

Thanks a lot both of you!
Thank you! If you could do so something similar with a surgical resident that would be stellar!
I love Andrea so much. She is so helpful and pretty from the inside out

How can you know that you want to be specifically a pedestrian neurologist? How do you know you'll even like it? Don't commit to a speciality. Just focus on getting into medschool!

+lolugbenga I know because I have done internships at 2 local hospitals for the past 3 years where I've been able to talk to, and see first hand what they do... also I have an extensive medical history of my own involving all sorts of different neurology based doctors... my mother is a nurse... and my highschool has a HUGE medical program with over 180 people who are (for the most part) going into healthcare... so I just know lol😂 I understand that things change, but as of right now I'm 99% sure neurology is the place for me

Awesome interview! very very informative!! Maybe next time you can do a video with a Cardiothoracic Surgeon? keep up the great work Dr. Tooley!!!
thanks for the video, very helpful!!
this is a very helpful video Thanks
I am only ten but that doesn't stop me from studying and wanting a career in cardiology
Hi Andrea, currently I'm a graduating nursing student in the Philippines. I'm planning to go to Medicine school after taking the board exam. Your video about international medical students applying residency abroad featuring him was a great help for me to plan my career. I was also inspired by your interviews with dr. sandra lee and him because I'm interested in cardiology and dermatology. I hope you could interview a pediatrician too. :) That would be a great help! :)
Thank you so much for this. ♡
Andrea I cannot thank you enough for all your videos! This is absolutely amazing and I cant wait to see more awesome videos from your channel!
I find your videos incredibly helpful! Particularly these interview ones. Would you be able to do a video on surgery as a specialty?
What do you recommend doing to force the "I cannot do it, it is to hard" attitude out? I want to go to medical school and want to accomplish this thing, and I do have the mind-set that I can do it I tell my self that I can do it, But it seems as if I am occasionally thinking about how hard it is and what if I get there and fail. So were you one that just knew that you were so intelligent that you knew you would get through College, Med.school, residency and pass it. or did you have some of the same foolish doubts that I sometimes do, and if you did how did you overcome them?
can you a video about surgery for an IMG please
Can you please make a video regarding Neurology? :D

Hey Andrea, I'm a huge fan of your videos and they have really helped me with everything from studying to cementing my medical goals. Thank you so much! I was wondering if you could post a video about OB/GYN if you have an opportunity or any information on it. I'm super interested in it. If you don't have that info available though it's okay! Thank you!

Hi Andrea! Can you do a video on Endocrinology with a focus on Diabetology? Thanks!
The body language of the interviewer seems odd. Regardless, thank you for conducting this interview, it was extremely helpful for fellow cardiologist-to-be in school.

Does anyone know if age plays any factor for med-schools. I won't have my 4-year degree until I'm 30. Is 30 too-late to go to med school?

Or go out of country like India or China and med school is 5 years no bachelors degree required but coming back and getting a residency is a little tougher than a regular US students
How much money does he earn?
what this video does not tell you is you have to crush your MCATs, step exams, BOARDs and be published before you get into cards fellowship. You have to be the best of the best in your residency class. Otherwise forget about being a cardiologist. The field is way too competitive. No one is going to hand you a cards fellowship. Thanks
