I hope Infernum ends up being picked up by another dev when Calamity gets new bosses, I'd love to see their take on a (hypothetical) Yharim bossfight!

​@@winxwest2964 honestly I respect Dominic's choice, but it is kinda sad that after the next calamity's update that reworks dog it will be broken and probably left unfixed.

Profaned Guardians’ Crystal phase reminds me of the radiance and the big laser orb later in the fight reminds me of Dogma

I really love how infernum dev team put into little detail like how you can find signus wandering around hell and in space when there alot of enemy storm weaver will come out and eat them than fly away and Scal will show up in brimstone crack and place rose 11/10 mod better than triple a game as always

I Just beat the whole thing yesterday, an amazing experience gotta say 🎉

you should make new updated loadout videos specifically for infernum seeing how much it changes the game and how certain weapons have now gotten buffed or nerfed since your last videos

Beautiful mod... i finished a playthrough of it when they had just reworked scal, and it was amazing! If my pc was better, i would certainly do another playthrough, but for now, it would just be a lag machine lol

Didn't know about this update and it happed DURING my fight with polterghast on my first playthrough. Literally restarted the game after getting a snack and a bunch of his attacks were different... Guess i gotta play the mod again to see all the reworked bosses i just missed. Not complaining tho

holy this mod gets more and more crazy as time goes on, terraria really reminds of geometry dash in a sense community wise as the more the game advances without major updates the more creative the community gets and the user created content becomes absolutely wild.

There's a small detail that many people have missed. I just saw it going through my playthrough today. When you beat Brimstone Elemental, Calamitas (The One and Only) will warp to where you defeated her and place an Obsidian Rose before warping away. A small detail, but just... incredible.

@kaihoffman8096 I think it occurs on any kill, but only one rose will be placed. It is unbreakable.

i really love that instead of making the aquatic scourge a boss that just spams projectiles that are almost invisible and impossible to dodge to a great and fun underwater fight

Providence's beam attacks in phase with the crystal look like a big reference to Seth with his Heat Snaps phase from Split Mod, for me.

This new Infernum update is beautiful just because of new HowToBasic weapon. Best part of the update))

I’ve been playing Infernum for a couple days now, and I have only ran into visual effects bugs. What a good example could be the portal effect when you use the Sandstorm‘s Core. The portal effect doesn’t show up at all for me. Same goes for effects from outside boss made arenas. They just don’t show up. I don’t know if it’s because I’m playing on a laptop (Alienware r17) but other than that, everything else is great. I forgot to mention, but some blocks don’t show up either like lumenyl and those spikes things in the abyss. They show on the map and they are in the abyss. The only problem is they appear invisible in gameplay

How do you manage fly time as I see many of the attack require you to always fly to have omnidirectional movement to dodge properly?

Providence is my favorite boss and im really happy that they fully reworked her fight, making it really better than just flying and spamming projectiles.

Wish I could play Infernum, but my laptop isn't very good with flashy textures, I almost crash with just the regular Providence death animation

I am confused by something. I just killed the reworked Adult Eidolon Wyrm in a new secondary world I made (cause I was mid-playthrough when this update dropped, so my main world still has original Abyss), and it dropped the Evoking Searune rather than the Terminus. If Terminus isn't dropped by Jared mans over here and is no longer in a chest like it is in base Calamity, how am I supposed to get it? Please help.

Your Cal clone being mechanical wish is going to be full-filled. Normal Calamity is planning on respriting her and reworking her too. She is basically going to be a humanoid thing infused with a cloning machine. for those who know, I am not talking about any of the designs iban made, there was a new design made, but it got scrapped due to some problems the other devs had with the design. Now there is a new one in the works, but the humanoid thing infused with a cloning machine is the general concept.

How do we download calamity infernum? I have the calamity mod, but my health bar doesnt look like what I see in this video. And I havent seen any boss names pop up on my screen, though I am still in pre-hardcore, is that why?

That makes me wonder, but if infernum update ends with this one, does that means that once vanila calamity gets more updates, infernum may not be compatible anynore?

help i played infernum and my entire pc started glowing orange and its emitting heat

I think while this mod is amazing on all fronts I wouldn’t enjoy playing it because it just looks stressful and far too difficult for me to enjoy it. No joke, this looks harder than mutant on eternity mode, which only took me about 3 hours but still

I decided to stop my play through of infernum and stick with the normal difficulty's because I was getting too stressed and overwhelmed. I love what they have done with infernum but I had to prioritize my mentality. I love Calamity sooo much and I don't want to stop laying it. But always trying to push to new limits is t necessary in a video game (for me). I would rather stick with revengeance and death mode and just playing that multiple times rather than trying to beat something so difficult that I get so stressed that it affects my whole life.

If its stressful you can add other mods to make it easier. Like more acessories or just more stats. Infernums difficulty is insane. But the bossfights themselves are just incredible, difficulty aside. Theres no shame in making the experience easier, just to be able to have it.

My eyes are bleeding from all the blinding light, my pc is crying from the lag and my emotions are getting destroyed from the bosses ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

i just finished calamity mod, and since now i have nothing to do (and i'm not even getting near boss rush just to complete the boss checklist) i will try this one later Also those flashy effects are because of the infernum mod or you also use something else to make terraria graphics more beautiful? like in the end of the video where you killed moon lord

I think so. Not the biomes and structures, those are created anyways at world gen. But the bosses are only changed on infernum difficulty.
