That shopping cart came out of nowhere! “If you didn’t like this video don’t bother subscribing” hilarious!Love your videos!
Best money I've spent in a while is getting an alignment from you guys. Great video!
Amazing video and enjoyed the shopping cart concept! Love the nerdy stuff you guys pump out!! 👌🤘🇨🇦
Excellent.
Great explanation, thanks!!!
This is the place to go! Outstanding work is done in this shop. "Pride in Craftsmanship"
Great video and demonstration of the cart. Got the concept. Very informative for the ones not mechanically inclined like myself. I got jd fab pivots on mine and locked camber and caster so all I need to worry about is toe but I have a hack for that in case that gets misaligned. Looking forward to the video explaining fitting bigger tires.
This is very thorough work ,
This makes me want to drive from Winnipeg for an alignment.
This is one of the best put together alignment videos for toyota trucks I've seen, props! A few weeks ago I educated myself about alignments and reading the numbers properly after getting a few bad ones. I had to BEG the dealership service department to hear me out about not paying so much attention to "the green". Not a fun experience lol. I wish I had a off-road specialty shop near me like you guys as my alignment still isn't great, just OK. My caster is about 5 * , a bit higher on the driver side for some reason, so it does pull to the right more than I would like and the steering is a tad too stiff.
I've also found the when using heat from an acetylene torch to free up a seized jamb nut, the heat will actually cause the tie rod end to lengthen, and can change toe angles pretty significantly. I always have to cool it back down with a wet shop towel or something before I set the finished toe adjustment.
Very interesting. Explains alot. Now I understand what to tell my alignment shop.
Man, wish I had a decent shop nearby. Literally just picked my 3rd Gen after a botched alignment. The local “do everything” shop didn’t bother letting me know about the the seized jam nut and made adjustments without tightening it. After a few days of driving around with my family in the car, I started feeling front end clunks and my steering wheel started vibrating. Luckily I found the inner and outer toe rods were damaged before they failed. Loved this video
More involved than I imagined with the laser-reflector equipment.
Solid info 👏🏾👏🏾
Good info - thanks
Would love to get my truck worked on by you guys. If ever I'm in BC, I'll definitely hit you up.
Great info! Please show in the upper/lower control arm video how to adjust a icon/camburg uca. I have a billet icon uca and no shop near me knows how to adjust them. This way I can walk them through it.
Thanks Braeden
You guys did an alignment on my 4Runner a few days ago…but now the steering wheel is always off to the right/drives me fricking nuts!

@@OverlandOutfitters thanks for reaching out…Cameron called me and I will take you up on that…just that you guys are open the same days I work. Sorry to have blurted it out on here…but I coincidentally saw this video just as my alignment is driving me crazy lol!
I like to remove the clip for the tie rod boot or I’ll spray silicone lube so it doesn’t stick. I had them stick and kept moving the toe back.
Well done, Braeden! I love videos where I get the learn something. There's a product (around $300?) that locks the lower control arms in place or in some way helps with future alignments I was thinking about getting. I don't remember the brand. Do you know what I'm talking about?

There are a few options, I'm not sure exactly which you have in mind. I don't like the square cams that leave you with a few options but can't let you get a perfect alignment. We do sell/install different cam tab upgrades that keep the little tabs from flattening out or bending, which is definitely an issue on these trucks. I did a separate video about that issue a while back!
Does your alignment system not require you to do multiple caster sweep measurements when making big caster adjustments? Ive done hundreds of alignments on IFS trucks, and have found that when making big adjustments to caster, it is absolutely necessary. The displayed measured caster angles can change by up to half a degree before and after caster sweep on the rack I use. I usually end up doing at least two sweeps when aligning a vehicle that I've done a big repair or modification to the suspension. The system in my shop is probably 15 years old, though.

Yes, we do re-sweep the caster, but I didn't show it in the video. Our machine is usually pretty dang close though!
I got an alignment from town fair and the clowns didn't even align the steering wheel. I came in with a straight wheel and left with a crooked one
