Later in the movie we realise that Carly’s car is a decepticon. And during the scene when she rips of the bunny legs (8:05) we see that Sideswipe and Dino are parked behind them. How did they not recognise the car as a decepticon? They were able to recognise other decepticon in their car/vehicle modes before? But then again, it is a Michael Bay film

One short scene i really liked is when the random citizens got incinerated, first time we've seen people be proper killed, unlike people flying about on wire stunts like the first two. Added a sense of dread and terror to it imo.

The length has to do with how bad the movie is now. He used try to keep them all short (The Last Airbender was 5 minutes), but now he doesn't really care and if it needs 20 minutes it gets 20 minutes.

They do explain where the deceptions keep coming from. They were all scattered throughout the universe. Optimus sent out a message at the end of the first movie (his ending narration) about earth being a safe place. He’s specifically blamed for that in this movie. Also, Optimus says he let them destroy Chicago to make a point about how the decepticons would never just leave the humans alone. Savage and it actually worked against him considering what happens in the next movie.

There is a sin that he didn't notice. At 1:26 that transformer was in his hand, few seconds later and it was gone, then a few more seconds later it was back.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the fact that when Bumblebee just finished saving Sam and the other guy from falling to their deaths after killing Starscream, he somehow manages to get himself captured by Decepticons in the very next scene.

If you pay attention when they split off Bumblebee drives off to go do something. Its really just a background thing and they probably should've edited it better, but you do see Bee drive off.

Yeah, I saw that. He drives off and then he's suddenly captured. But you're right. They definitely should have edited that better. At least show Bumblebee getting captured as he drives off or something.

You forgot to mention on how Sentinel Prime knows "Earth's" laws of physics, and English.

Was I the only one expecting the "Tis but a scratch" when sentinal cut off optimus's arm at the end.

12:10 PG-13 movie somehow got away with literally blowing a civilian up.

Did you notice how his “Mist” wasn’t in any way red. Like he wasn’t a person but was made up of lime jello? That’s the gimmick they used. Along with not seeing his face, or anyone reacting to it. Plus, Bay probably overloaded the censors with so many explosions, he just seemed like one more car/building/robot blowing up.

Not really. Since Megatron is there to beat the shit out of Sentinel and asked for a truce. Optimus killing Megatron to simply end their beef with each other and him killing Sentinel is basically because Optimus doesn't want the human race to extinct.

+Gambit771 Even when Jazz died and they were given no clue that he did die because no one saw him get killed, they were all like "we'll never forget Jazz he was a great warrior" and when Ironhide dies IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, no one bats an eye. BUT in the next movie, Ratchet dies and Optimus goes bat shit crazy over it, even though lots of other autobots died too. Make up your mind, Bay.

Same, I feel so guilty right now. I recognize it has way too many sins when it comes to the writing, mostly because Michael Bay and good storylines don't go along, yet I still think it does an excellent job at delivering unique VFX/SFX. Still, the next one will probably be much worse.

Reasons why Michael Bay crossed the line with this movie. 1. Wheeljack is a pussy instead of an awesome kickass Autobot 2. Cybertron gets destroyed = Primus dies (WTF!!!) 3. If you watch when Optimus kills all the Cons in the bridge flying down you can see Cons that have died in the past 2 films (Sideways, Brawl, Long Haul, exct.) 4. Megatron doesn't get an awesome final fight with Prime 5. Megatron dies like a bitch 6. Starscreams is STILL Megatrons bitch 7. Starscream dies like a bitch 8. Shockwave doesn't get a badass battle, nor death nor a badass character 9.Soundwave is a bitch 10. Bay made all the awesome classic Cons into bitches 11. Bay represents Humans as idiots because they still don't understand that they need the Autobots no matter how the situation is (Bayformers 1-4) 12. Shia is still in the film 13. Lazerbeak is a bitch 14. Bee still can't speak 15. The other Autobots still don't get the spotlight 16. Ironhide dies like a bitch 17. Sentinel Prime.... 18. The game was a prelude 19. The Twins are in the movie but didn't do anything 20. This movie is called Bayformers. The last transformers movie was made in 1986

Ever notice that Optimus and the Autobots always shoot to kill, when actually trying to hit? They never attempt to take prisoners, unless the humans are telling them too. The decepticons however take captives frequently and seem to avoid causalties when not attempting (poorly) at psychological intimidation. It’s almost like the Autobots are actual violent delusional revolutionaries and the decepticons aren’t.

The breaks Optimus takes is him being in commercials. The first one, before he gets to the Sentinel-rage-induced destruction of the hanger, is him filming for Burger King. The second one, where’s he’s flying to destroy the driller-bot, is the M&M’s commercial where he throws a trailer across the horizon.

Considering almost the entire thing is completely self-aware and makes fun of itself it would be pretty pointless to do a cinema sins on it. Also, it took you until the credits to realize that? Not very sharp are you. Not saying it's a great movie or anything but it "making sense" is one of the things you can't really criticize about it. Because it's lack of sense is the entire point. That's like saying Eraserhead is shitty because it's not realistic. Also, the first one is "legit"? Yet you criticize someone for enjoying the second? Please. It really isn't any better.

She compared Michael Bay's controlling nature during filming to Adolf Hitler's. Steven Spielberg took offence then demanded Michael Bay fire her. Not sure how she got back in his good books, but I don't think Michael really cared about her earlier comments.

Another sin is how the girls heels didn't come off at ALL during all those scenes. Like when she was dangling and kicking her legs around on the building, or running at slow speeds with Sam through fucking war zones. Surely if they didn't fall off, she'd at least take them off to run faster.

I went to see this on theatres and slept through the whole thing. It took 6 years for me to actually know what happened in it. Needless to say, I was only impressed the first time. On an unrelated note, off-pitch Iridescent is hilarious.
