From the title to the trailer, I fully expected this movie to underwhelm me in every way, but I was truly pleasantly surprised. The humor is sharper than it is in most kids movies, and there's a quiet depth to a kid whose mother died violently looking for nonviolent solutions. Sterling cracked me up throughout, too- he was arrogant without being too obnoxious.

Actually Tom Holland isn't the only actor for which this is the case. With many actors the animated character looks similar to them at least in the way they move or speak.

Who else’s favorite character is the Sociopidgeon and finds it funny that Walter comes home to that and its his equivalent of a guidance counselor, and that he isnt dead yet?

You should've removed a sin for every time the headphone guy said a one liner. Most of those were hilarious

Ok, so, here is a quote from Agent K in the first movie that says they definitely were funded by the US government: "In the mid-50s the government started an underfunded agency with the simple and laughable purpose of establishing contact with a race not of this planet." And here is an exchange between Agent K and Agent J in that same movie that suggests they aren't: J: What branch of the government do we report to? K: None, they ask too many questions. J: So who pays for all this? K: We hold patents on a few gadgets we confiscated from the visitors. So, either they are government funded, but poorly so (because they don't report to anyone that they actually have found aliens), and thus have to get most of their money from patents on alien technology, or they were once funded before being officially shutdown and now run their organization privately.

@Grace Slagle Yeah I kinda overreacted there. I just read the comments alot and see a lot of different comments like yours so I get frustrated over them more than I should. I don't know if you watch r/wooosh videos but they basically feature a bunch of comments of people who didn't get the joke. It gives the wrong message. I apologize. It was also like 10:00 so that could have been a factor as well.
