My biggest beef with this movie when I first saw it was the movement of the camera. I couldn’t see what was going on in any of the action scenes because the movement was so insane.

Yep. I ended up seeing it twice in theaters (went with two different groups of friends) and on the second viewing, I recommended that we sit in the very back because of the shaky cam and fast cuts. Didn't help at all.

They went to copy the Bourne movies, but worse. So far the great thing about Bond movies was that they had used actual stunts and you could see them because they'd rather show them proudly to you in slow-motion than cover up the fact they didn't really care by using a shaky cam.

Le Chiffre told Bond that Mathis was his "friend" because he didn't want him to think it was Vesper, that way Bond would believe that Vesper was very much in danger (even though she really was but Bond might be less likely to give up the password if he knew that Vesper had been f-cking him over).

Jayzen Vesper told him. Remember, her job was to get the money. It’s why she wouldn’t front him the additional cash to buy back in after he was wiped out, and also why she wasn’t hurt when kidnapped.
I love Bond films, nobody knows what this is all about. No script, director pressured to just get some shots, studio paying millions, no script (yeah I said it twice). I pity the editor, trying to make a film out of all that random footage.
something about the first scene it was shot in italy in lake garda, where I live, then they drive into the fucking Siena quarry that is NOWHERE NEAR lake garda in the split of a second, my mind was officially fucked regardless of the awful cuts
I think your'e forgetting one of the sins in this movie: Every time Bond fights a bad guy in a hotel room, it leaves damage that someone should pay for it. Yet, no one, not even the staff of the hotel minds about this.
The plot, while a bit goofy at times, actually does kinda make sense. I knew what was going on but also, I was realy invested so I dunno ^^
Big up for referencing “Eastbound and down” 🙌🏼
"Tom Cruise riding motorcycle cliche" X'D Nice. Also, thanks for enforcing my Bond/Mitchell ship with that "the double agent shoots the random guy instead of Bond" remark *hoh* (Seriously tho, the Bond/Mitchell ship is legit: Bond's remark "I don't think he smoked" in Mitchell's apartment made him the only one who seemingly knew the man personally, better than M even).
That's such a bizarre irony for me that you chose "Arms of the Angels" at the end. The reason is because the director of this, Marc Forster, used to be a friend of mine. He recommended I go to the Sundance Film Festival and I remember specifically listening to that song while driving among the mountains of Utah. Marc would later go on to dump all his friends, including me, when he became successful. So it's fun to watch people slam on his films.
I watched this movie wondering if they could put back the two seconds or so of film that they chopped off from every cut in every action sequence so I could absorb what was going on in this movie. Even important non-action sequences were cut too quickly. Film editors should be instructed to watch The Godfather or contact Walter Murch before they take their scissors or scene splitters to a movie. What a frustrating waste of what might have been a half-way decent Bond flick.
0:41 LeChiffre actually died after torturing Bond. **Ding**

I appreciate putting the original release dates in the video descriptions
When Bond tries to leave a business card with a security man for Camille at the entrance of the private gated quay, the other security man takes the card and calls the number. He then scalds the other security guard and says: "Next time, pay attention!" But the security man WAS paying attention. He did nothing wrong! If he had thrown the card on the floor, the other security man could have scalded him for being careless!
Ahhh i missed your Hobbs and Shaw video because it’s blocked in my country (UK). Dammit I really was excited to watching it!

Sins 34-37: you failed to mention that Bond and the guy he was fighting were both in dark clothing, both the same height, build, hair style, hair color, and the camera shake and fast cuts made it impossible to tell who was who in the entire fight. Also, you messed up Sin #1: This movie exists.

I like how theres just 7 sins in a row
7:34 the “some kind of WWII plain” is a Aermacchi SF.260, a military trainer in use with multiple militaries around the world today.
I have a relative soft spot for this film. The ending may be way too breakneck, but it’s the only Craig film I’ve rewatched simply because it’s a fun little experience. I liked the title song as well, and Mattheu Almaric gives an enjoyably insane villain.
04:29 - Ooh, a pre-Stranger Things David Harbour! That should be good for minus 5 retroactive sins.
The opening scene was really cool tho with the score you have to admit
This movie had a jazzy tempo that flowed well.
I liked this movie mostly for its unique plot of the Villain securing drinking water and Quantum trying to become the new spectre but the shaky cam and writing really brings it down
What about at the end when Bond somehow commandeered a car from the fireball wreckage, but Dominic didn't think to take the car? Dominic would rather set out across the desert with a bum foot than go for a car in a building he was likely familiar with? Ex machina!
watching this, I realised I cant remember a single second of actually watching this film when it came out....
Also, referencing 5min 57secs in the above, in the film the agent falling from the roof does not tell Bond he is from Special Branch. Surely, if this agent is at gun point, he would be letting Bond know quite clearly that they are both on the same side . (You need to watch the whole film to understand this, but it definitely defies common sense).
I liked this prior to listening, because this video's existence is necessary.
In sin 72... maybe if Perseus had been there she'd.... wait, never mind, wrong movie
wow. the Chick-fil-a reference was godlike.
How many times have I seen this video before?
Since I'm not seeing anyone already having said it: le chiffre is free to do whatever he wants as long as it's being dead from a gunshot to the head.
Wooo! Love the PEI shoutout. Can I get an autograph if you ever come back here?
What happened to EWW; Avengers prequel Aka. Hobbs and Shaw video??lol
CinemaSins missed how craZy it was for 007 NOT to deny to M he shot the agent who she accused Bond of throwing off the roof. So he says nothing allowing M to cancel his cards and hunt him --- only to surrender in the hotel - still not denying he killed that agent, then fights his way out of the elevator only to return back to M saying a few words like "I'm onto something" --- then has to run away again. He could have told her all that ON THE PHONE. Who in the world gets accused of murder and doesn't point out it's a lie? And what the hell happened to Mister White?
please do "Alvin and the chipmunks: Road Chip" XDDD
What bugged me about these film is the bloody Walther PPK, all the High tech gadgets and Bond is using a handgun made in 1935 whose profile isn't much lower than a glock and has about a third of the ammo capacity....
Could you please do "Everything Wrong With Balto (1995)"? It's been my favorite film since I was a kid!
and one sin off, for those beautiful Alfa Romeo's 159 from the beginning :)
Hey Cenimasins can you do a sin video on Everything Everything, darkest minds or every day?
Bond movies went from being the greatest action movies of all time to being a sick love story between bond and the old bitch from as time goes by and seriously shes been old for like 50 goddamn years wtf.
