You skipped the biggest sin in the movie: Dom clearly has no exit wound after being shot in the shoulder, yet we are told that the bullet is not inside him. This means the bullet hit him, pierced his shoulder, and apparently ricocheted back out off of his bullet-proof bones. Movie outright confirms that Dom is literally indestructible.

that's not a sin, you can't register an s15 normally in the US yet, there are some legal ones through loop holes but this was probably registered as a 240sx... the illegal mod was a sin, if the cops find it they will impound and or destroy this car, the vin swap wouldn't help either... unless the cops didn't even know about the car and disregarded that and cited him for exhaust etc..

I did a Fast and Furious marathon the past two weekends with a few friends of mine where we saw all movies in the franchise (including Hobbs and Shaw). I had never seen them before. These movies are enjoyable dumb fun movies, with so many missteps in logic, so I am also enjoying these Cinemasins videos.

Yeah, but it's a magical iDodge Charger that spontaneously regenerates every time it''s destroyed because it is iconic and symbol of the franchise .... It's cousin is the James Bond Aston Martin DB5 which passed through dimensions into another continuity and then was pieced back together after being blown to pieces by a helicopter. Plus, in all fairness, Dom had no idea it would turn into a demolition derby when he set off for Mexico. He just needed a fast and powerful car.

KZread figured that out and made it so that when you put words between asterisks, they become bold. Even if I had put it in bold, this does not deteriorate from the knowledge that this is a very common joke used throughout youtube and other websites. I like FF, i know it doesn't have great plots in most of the movies, but I think it is still better than Transformers because of the action sequences and the characters. The action sequences in Transformers are terrible and the characters are even worse.

It wasn’t a Charger he was driving that he crashed into the guy with. He jumps out of the Charger into a 70 camaro. The camaro is based off of David Freiburger’s (former Editor in Chief of Hot Rod magazine. Now is a VP for the company and does shows like Roadkill for Motortrend) real life 72 Camaro named FBomb. It was built by Nelson Racing Engines and has a twin turbo small block Chevy capable of 1100hp and can run 8s in the 1/4 under the best conditions and is 100% street legal and used as a daily driver. David still owns the original car (which wasn’t in the film).

The two wheels vs 4 wheels scene. The reason why the two wheels are going faster is implied that the torque any power from the engine is strong enough to lift the car up, and the skill of the driver is enough to keep the car level as to apply forward frictional motion.

The wheels thing could work, since cars are rarely all wheel drive when mod'd for speed. They are usually either rear wheel or front wheel. So if dom's car is rear wheel, then his car would still be getting the same output from his engine and tires as if he were completely on the ground

6:29 yes, it is, this is a common (I don’t want to say common but I can’t think of a much better term at the moment) thing in drag racing. Basically it happens when you have a shit ton of torque and more grip in the rear then you have weight in the front. Think of it this way, if you took one of those little electric fans you can buy for an exorbitant amount of money at amusement parks and held it by the spiny fan blades, what would happen? It starts spinning the handle, right? Wheelies work the same way, think of the wheels as the fan blades and the rest of the car as the handle. The drive wheels have so much grip that it requires more force for them to break traction than it does to move whatever the weight of the car is around the wheel. Since this only happens on a launch and they’re not going fast enough yet for aerodynamics to make a significant difference, and the fact that Dom’s charger is rear wheel drive so the front wheels don’t do anything but steer, then yes, it is entirely possible for the car on two wheels to go faster than the ones on four. If anything the fact that it’s only on two wheels would help add speed on the launch since now you’ve cut the rolling friction that the engine as to act against in half (assuming that the car has the same size wheels and tires on the front as it does the rear). TL:DR Yes, it’s possible, Dom’s Charger is rear wheel drive so the only thing that the front wheels do is steer. Hold one of those cheap electric fans you get at amusement parks by the fan blade and you cans see why this happens. If anything only being on two wheels would make it faster on the launch because now there’s no more unnecessary rolling friction.

No the difference between a criminal and a cop is that when cops do it it's legal. After all, it's not a kidnapping or holding them hostage against their will, it's placing them under arrest and incarcerating them. It's not breaking and entering, it's breaching. It's not an assault, it's use of force. It's not torture, it's interrogation. It's not murder, it's a casualty. Think about it though. I mean I'm not anti-cop or anything cause I see law enforcement as entirely necessary, but it is interesting how giving someone a badge and changing the words, somehow crimes turn into just basic law enforcement

prison busses doing transfers do actually drive on highways that are usually empty. because they are driving routes that hit every prison to drop off inmates to each of them. its kind of weird that thats a real thing lol

i’m just saying that most of the “they survive this” wrecks are in cars with 4-6 point roll cages so it is likely they’ll survive. sinnable tho? still yes

Here's the order of the Fast and Furious films: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 3, 7. I love these movies as cheap entertainment, but the order makes no sense without the story, and 1 and 2 are standalone films that work just as well without any of the others. 3 is only connected because of Han. The order is fucked.

Sin 68 about the wheelie car in first is preposterous actually. All 3 of the people that revise this script never thought about the logistics of spinning tires? Tires have a constant circumference, and the circumference is what determines distance traveled per revolution.. Two need only revolve as fast as four to achieve the same speed. The only merit I give the sin is that the upward motion from "popping" the wheelie would make it start slightly slower, which is why runners start nearly horizontal before a race... But that effect would be negligible, so I'm sinning your sin, sir!
