    I mean, it's called code switching, he had to hide it when he was pretending to be Rose's brother (plus he barely talked anyway) but it came out when he was around people that knew their secret. For me it's more that it would randomly get super strong lol but at least the actor was actually Texan, not that they gave him a fake accent and he overdid it or something

    So from what I remember of the books (I had *very* limited reading material growing up) the wolves don't chase vampires into the water because vampires don't lose any strength or mobility in the water- but the wolves do since swimming makes it a lot harder to chase and bite the vampire. While unmentioned- I would also assume a vampire not needing to breathe is a major reason not to go fucking around in the water when trying to kill them.

    Which makes the logic of this universe even more ludicris. The vampires in this universe have zero weaknesses( except blood lust, that several seem quite capable to overcome) while having extremely long life, superhuman strength, superhuman reflexes, near invulnerability to harm, immune to all diseases. With no weaknesses/ drawbacks the vampires in this universe would have ruled the Earth, not been in hiding from humanity.

  • @SebasTian58323

    @@daverobson3084 fire can still kill them, as can real werewolves, and the shape shifters like Jake can harm them enough to tear them apart and throw their pieces in fire. Nuclear weapons would absolutely kill them, and missiles and the like with explosions/fire would definitely harm them as well. The thirst is something they can learn to resist for a while, but the longer they go without feeding the more powerful it becomes, and the weaker the vampire becomes-though I don't believe they'd ever die from not drinking they would weaken continually. Vampires also are very territorial and don't typically get along with others besides their own group, and have often wiped each other out in fights. They don't need to stay hidden they choose to because their lives are easier if they're not known of and humanity does indeed have the means to kill them.

    @@SebasTian58323 But they are drastically more difficult to kill than humans. Go back 2,000 years, no missiles, no flame throwers, no nukes and it would take a small army, or rather brilliant tactics, to take down one vampire. They would rule the planet, not hide. Not most of them. They would have people worshiping them , and some falling over each other to donate the blood the vampires needed to dominate the planet.

    Werewolves and half vampire/human hybrid were immune from Alice's visions so that should've mean they wouldn't have been included in the battle with the Volturi army nor could Alice have seen the visions with Edward/Bella/Jacob/Adult Renesmee.

  • @nikkydalby7126

    I always liked the theory that it was Zafrina projecting that vision & since Aro didn’t know about her particular powers that’s why he believed it was Alice’s vision when he was touching her hand (of course this would mean absolutely impeccable timing lol BUT I would absolutely believe that Zafrina would want to keep her power hidden from the Volturi as to not end up being forced to join them at some point)

  • @Riverspirit86

    @Riverspirit86

    I believe it's because, when Bella was pregnant, Alice spent more time around Jacob, Seth, and Leah, so her visions were slowly able to see the wolves. And same with Renesmee. The more time Alice spent with her, and Nahuel, the more she was able to see hybrids in her visions. I think the reasoning why Alice could see humans and vampires in visions was because she had been a human and was a vampire currently. She'd never been a wolf or a hybrid, so, since she had no experience with both in the beginning, she couldn't see them. However, once she spent time with and had to learn about the wolves and the hybrids, she could see them. At least that's the running theory that I've seen in several places! Hope that helps!

When I mentioned it, a friend who read the books said it was explained in the books, that long hair means long unmanageable fur when they're wolves, that's why they all cut it short. NO mention of this, NO demonstration of this, and as I recall NO notice of the change in the movie. Really? Bella doesn't question the hair change, before OR after she knows he's a werewolf? The books made it seem like there was a strong underlying theme of prophecy and fate. It seemed to me like there was a prophecy that renessmee would one day usurp the volturi. It makes sense that the volturi was gathering warrior to protect their power and why they feared the cullins. It gives credence to the scene in the book where Edward explained he felt compelled to love Bella out of some sense of necessity.... All these plot twists would make sense. Even Marcus purpose would make sense... But meyers never finished the story....

Love Twilight, most historically accurate vampire movie and I can prove it. All vampires stem from Dracula, and Dracula is based on a guy named Vlad the Impaler who was known for sticking pikes in the ground, putting grease on them and putting his prisoners on them anus first, then slowly over time, that pike would go through their anus, through their organs, and out of their mouth. Which is exactly what it feels like to sit down and watch a twilight movie. Not mine, but I can't remember the guy who said it.

    Even with the books, no story has been more discombulating than Twilight. Wether it be lore, power systems, traits, character interaction, all of it. So many parts are so well thought out and set up, but so poorly utilised and executed, while so many other components are poorly explained and set up, and yet somehow provide the series with some of its best executions and pay offs. The 0.2 acre, 4500 square foot home with a large multi-car garage, finished basement and 4.5 bathrooms is set against a state forest and was built by a Nike exec back in 2006, who had it designed by architect Jeff Kovel. Admittedly, I haven't actually watched these movies in their entirety in YEARS, but I've always been a little confused about why the werewolves aren't having to resist Bella's blood too. They are yet another predator, and if consuming animal blood isn't enough for the vampires, why is consuming animals enough for the werewolves? Moreover, in the real world, wolves quite literally ARE drawn to the smell of blood, so it makes as much sense as anything else in these stories. I guess what I'm saying is that it makes absolutely zero sense that Jacob can be cleaning Bella's head wound and have zero reaction to the blood.

    Just goes to show that the actors are talented, not that the lacklustre writing did them any favours. For the record, Kristen is an Oscar nominee, and Robert literally Batman!

    11:17 That's really cool they used the Pontypool poster! Pontypool is a thriller/horror movie starting Stephen McHattie and directed by Bruce Mcdonald. It's a really good movie! It's also the name of a town in Ontario that was named after a town in Wales.

    Her acting did seem to improve with subsequent movies, but in Twilight Kristen acted like some one in my 10th grade high school drama class. Her acting completely sucked in Twilight.

    Jacob said he’s the grandson of Ephraim Black because his Great Grandfather was a Chief and the Alpha and more importantly is the one who made the treaty between his tribe & the Cullen family. I had to do some research to find that answer.
