Idk about the business implications but the Dolce and Gabbana / D&G idea sounds brilliant.

what's funny is that as someone who lived in china for 6yrs since 2005(I spent my time mostly between Beijing and Shanghai), it really smelled rotten every time you stepped out of the house, the subway trains in the morning were also other disgusting places to be, let alone buses, picture the morning breath from the entire train wagons full of people majority who didn't brush their teeth, that's not an insult, I learned that it was customary for Chinese not to brush teeth with toothpaste for reasons I came to agree with, the chemicals in those pastes are disgusting. in summer at most university campuses' entrances, there would be vendors of a very famous delicacy called "chou doufu" which translates to "stinky tofu", gosh I still have PTSD from that smell. even the students who ate it had to pinch their noses before taking a bite. oh, there was the ever-legendary tradition of "Tutan" meaning "spitting", ewwwww, they would straight up spit a big spit on the carpet in the middle of the hotel lobby or on the floor tiles in the restaurant while everybody is eating. people carried around spit cups and often they would be clear glass cups!! don't get me started on farting. farting is an activity that had to be done publicly and as loudly as possible. due to their government system and the rules that come with it, taking a shower was a once-a-week luxury afforded to the Chinese students, they would have no showers in their dorms, no AC and there would be 8 people per room on bunker beds with one shared toilet per floor. sometimes Chinese students would befriend foreign students just so we can invite them to come to visit us in our rooms and then take a quick bath in between the once-a-week ones they only had. but to be honest, it was the older generation that did all these disgusting traditions, the younger Chinese my age were also as disgusted as I was. well, as for the dog-eating thing, it's actually not a Chinese tradition, many Chinese were also disgusted by the thought of eating dog meat, it is a chaoxian tribe tradition which means Korean tribe including both north Korea and south Korea, they love the dog meat and I'll admit it even myself out of curiosity I asked my Korean friends if it was true and they treated me to a buffet of dog meat, definitely not my favorite meat(trust me I have eaten raw worse things than that, cast the the stone at me if you've never eaten @$$orPu$$ if you know what I mean), but it didn't stop me to once again accept an invitation to another dog buffet this time I was visiting northern china in the region inhabited by Chinese of Korean ethnicity, fun fact, china hosts the most Korean ethnic people, more than the two Koreas combined. anyway enough with my ramblings, that being said I spent some of the best times of my life in china, no matter what anybody says, Chinese people will always have a warm place in my heart. ps: after sh!ttin all that on china let me inform y'all that I'm from Africa and when it comes to disgusting things that happen to that continent I love dearly, lets just say that YOU DO NOT WANNA KNOW.
