I love this update because it feels like an older update, adding a bunch of things that we didn't really need, but are super cool features to have. I'm glad it isn't always a grandiose update trying to drastically change the way we play an area or mechanic

The Netherite with Gold Trim looks sick af. Can't wait to start making custom armors

I think it will be awesome to have the total customization after this update be a total of ~90.03 Billion (90,035,798,189 to be exact) armor combos without leather armors or ~1.06 octillion (1,066,000,783,473,511,195,945,667,032) with leather armors

It would make these actually somewhat of a benefit. As a single player, I really dont see the need to get these. Illl get them in my world, but eh. Would be cool if they made it so you could give villagers armor / make them "town guards".

not everything needs a use, while this is an interesting idea, i dont think it would be good. these armour trims are supposed to be adding more options to armour, and these are supposed to encourage people to be creative. adding uses for them would defeat the perpouse of that.

Also, the normal smithing template that is used to upgrade to netherite can be found in bastions.

I love the Bamboo trapdoors and doors. The Bamboo Trapdoors will be awesome new windows. The bookshelf feature is also really cool, with the book and quill you can now place your own books in there maybe for roleplay or just for fun on a realm with friends, or pranks. >quick find a way to get around the bedrock censorship put all the naughty words in a book.

I will literally never be getting the ward armor set. I am way too scared to go into that place 😅

do a hardcore survival world checkout thingy again and see sb737 he is the best one ever and has everything like every protection on each armor without cheating by downgrading his world to an older version and a warden disabler and a warden farm made the first fastest xp farm in the world

I feel like the End Update will be in 1.20, first, the end looks awfully boring and all you do is just destroy end crystals while avoiding to look in an the Endermens eyes just so you can be able to kill the ender dragon and beat the game, I think what the end update can do, is that it can look like the Nether update, but recolors, it will have no new mobs, (depending if it will have new mobs in the end) just enderman and other new hostile mobs, you will need to find a few requirements, like crystal gems, and Amethyst, but it will introduce a new armor, called “End Armor” The Ender Dragon will also be remodeled looking better than ever, she will also have the egg being warmed by her, when you attack her she will charge at you with end laser beam, which will do tons of damage, that’s why you must enchant the shield to make it stronger, it’s the only way to beat the Ender dragon, I don’t know why a few people talk about the End update while others talk about a bunch of crap that probably don’t make any sense AT ALL. (just saying as an opinion though) but the requirements you will first need is… Requirements: End Armor Enchanted Shield Enchanted weapons Destroy the end crystals. I also want to say that the cave to find the end portal will be harder to find, and that when you find the end portal, the base will look cooler than before. I hope my thoughts will happen This is also my opinion so yell at me in the comments👍

@@TheGamer_0825 the official update will probably release around june as most updates do. However you can download official betas that contain some 1.20 content. Atm the betas include camels, bamboo wood, chiseled bookshelves, hanging signs, and a ton of bug fixes and parity

when you go online, and look up, when is Minecraft 1.20 coming out? The response is January 2023. It is now February 2023, so I reached out to Mojang support. I was then paired with a “Minecraft expert” and all I asked was simply “is 1.20 out yet, if so how to i install it?” the alleged expert then told me to uninstall the game in order to get the update. After doing so, and it not working, I replied and said this did not work. He then told me to completely delete my console account, and re-purchase Minecraft. It was at this point that I realized this is no “Minecraft expert” this person is deliberately messing with me. After telling him that I will not be deleting my account and re-purchasing Minecraft because that is ridiculous. he then gave up the act and told me that he was wrong and 1.20 does not have any official release date despite what everything says online. I am simply making this comment so that nobody else has to go through what I went through, do not waste your time trying to download the update it is NOT OUT, and mojang “support” is a TOTAL JOKE. I left the man with one star and a scam report. Hopefully mojang can develop a new support team that is vetted and not just random players. Because this is the third time i’ve reached out to them and some random person decided to mess with me. For a game that is worth well over 3 Billion dollars, they can, and should to better to support their players.

it doesn't make sense at all it expensive just to keep you grinding for diamonds longer. netherite armor was already hard and expensive enough. now it's just stupid. really there isn't enough of a defence difference from diamonds to netherite I haven't bothered getting netherite in over a year. mojang needs to stop looking at the hermitcraft crew and other creates and think diamonds are everywhere they ain't and some of us can't play full time like them to mine for days.

Netherite isn’t hard to get at all, you just have bad enchants. You need a good pickaxe bro, fortune 3 efficiency 5 and mending. Unbreaking 3 as well. Then it’s so easy to get the diamonds and even easier to strip mine for ancient debris

@@BrattierIce firstly how do you know if i don't have the enchants ? I assumed they were obvious to have.. what I don't have is time.. I work full time on a 3 way shift and have other irl priorities. I play minecraft to escape reality and have a creative outlet, and be part of a community. I don't want to spend even more time in a 1x2 looking for diamonds and AD. I play on a fairly active server so that brings other issues, like one person who has the time can go and raid all the trims before I even get on and I'm sure theres other issues to. 1 set of armour fine.. but it's the fact that I have died so many times from bugs and lost my whole inventory it's not gona be just one set and that's where my problem is with the repetiveness

armor trim looks puke, what a pity, i dont think bloating mincraft will help the game, they need to go up , up up up , zero g after x amount of blocks an atmospheric biome.
