As a huge Tim Burton fan I am always up for something new from him. But it hits more when it is a sequel to the movie that started his career, closing a chapter.

Michael Keaton literally has not aged a day. I am so stoked for this.

According to a few sources who saw the extended trailer at comic Con in Chicago, it is actually Lydia who summons Beetlejuice to help her find her daughter who has ended up in the afterworld. There is also a clip of Astrid running from Sandworms.

Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega as mother and daughter? Talk about fantastic casting. Shame that they likely won't get Alec Baldwin or Geena Davis to return.

I remember watching the original Beetlejuice on VHS at my babysitters house… I was about 7. Loved it then and still enjoy it now. I hope the sequel is good.

If Tim Burton says this movie is a return to form for him and Michael Keaton and the rest of the cast loved the filming experience, then I’m in.

Honestly, I think Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is the only WB film I'm looking forward to. The folks at WB are really screwing with us animation fans.

We know what happened to Lydia. She's going to Monster High. But that's no longer canon thanks to this movie.

Ok... sooooo, the twist is that Lidia is the one who dies, probably riding her bike. That's what brings the 3 generations together. Then beteljuice is hired by (villion behind the scenes, Van dams character) to bring her to the afterlife. As Ortega tries to get beteljuice to bring her mom Lidia back to the living.

The Beetlejuice that I know is different.

Jenna doesn't really act anymore. She more a behind the scenes person. Like as a writer, director or producer. My guess from Alan, that rust accident case. And probably other project kept him from coming back.
