Candles are only in game for one simple reason, to help you identify if rush is coming past door 90 it is confirmed but you can also use it sometime else as false flickers have indeed gotten more often and frequent

Hey I don't know if you know this but there's a room we're a crucifix spawns but I think it's rare cause iv only encountered it once

Tips that doesn't mentioned in the video: 1. Crucifix can be found rarely in crate and hanged on walls near beds. 2. in doors 90,you will enter a 10 room series named greenhouse,there were no lights that can cause more immense threats and cannot alert you from rush and ambush. Theres are some partially deteriorated closet that can be used to hide from ambush and rush. Another main threat is is spike trap that can be found on floors covered with dirt. If you managed to step over it,you will receive some damage same as screech damage so be aware of "them". 3. Around room 59 or 60 or 61,there will be another kind of secret rooms that hides a secret door which can be found behind closets, It were locked by skull and 2 external lock,you will need skeleton key and 2 lockpicks. The door will teleport you into "The Rooms" (crucifix wont work there). 4. As you noticed,doors 100 new mechanism requires you to collect all 10 electric panel switch which located in the maze ( sometimes near exit door and on ground ) guarded by wandering figure. I recommend graphic over 4+ and lightsource because its hard to see. If you walk down the stairs, you can store your tablet which can help you locate those 10 switches ( get from "The Rooms" ). The panel room key location is slightly moved and you have to look on the left of elevator (there will be shelves and you can find the key there. As you putted in all switches, a scene plays about figure got burned and jumped over window but cause the room to be spreaded with fire Which you had to finish the puzzle quick before the fires got into you.

crucifix can spawn in loot crates, those big drawers (idk how theyre called) and on walls. it blends in pretty well so its easy to miss. also ambush can apparently spawn in the next room instead of the previous rooms, at least thats what happened to me.

Something you missed! Candle doesn’t go out just for Screech! It goes out for any hostile entity that might be ahead or coming towards you (examples: Eyes, Rush, Ambush, etc.). In rooms 92-98 there’s no light, so using the candle to know if Rush is near or there’s an entity up ahead is super useful. In those same dark rooms there are also bushes on the floor that act as traps and can halt your movement and take damage making it a little frightening with Rush

nuh-uh crucifix doesnt only spawn at the shop theres 3 places ik where it can spawn 1: the door before seek eyes start, on my first run the crucifix spawned twice right before the door where the seek eyes start 2: above the beds in certain rooms 3: shop (not confirmed if it has a chance on every door but those are the only 3 locations)

For people who are asking why is ambush going through the walls, it was a pathfinding bug in the release of hotel+ (I think it's fixed now)

You can get the crucifix from a room if you look ontop of the door

You can actually get crucifix on walls or on top of doors

now guys crusifix costs 500 golds and skeleton key costs 400 golds they increase the cost for the crusifix and skeleton key so make sure you have enough of golds to get them

The Crucifix works in all 100 Doors, it doesn't work in The Rooms, and it may stop Seek and Figure dead in their tracks but its not strong enough to completely erase them, merely halting their movement and jumpscare temporarily.

You need 2 lockpocks and a skeleton key to use it but before you make it pass the door 60 gate, you need to flick the lever at the dark basement and return to 60 and the gate has been opened. Now you use the 2 lockpicks and skeleton key on the door and it will bring you too a seceret game called "rooms". You will get one achievement for entering and another for making to the end (A-1000) but if you enter rooms there is no returning to door 60 and you will be at the elevator (A-1000 IS AN INSANELY HARD ACHIEVEMENT AND THERE IS ONLY ONE KNOWN VICTOR AS OF NOW)

But I cant open the crates :l
