It can be pretty rare to get rush in the courtyard since u have to get the greenhouse first and get rush to spawn in the room before or u have manage to get rush like 2 rooms before the courtyard before the greenhouse but ur chances of survival is pretty low and I can confirm that 1. It's a safe spot And 2. Since I have been play doors for a long time I can also confirm that rush is pretty rare in the courtyard like I said before

The safe spots of this video are definitely the most complete in KZread. I waited months on KZread to finally see someone speak out all the safe points, especially the gallery segment. well done!

the reason why the broken pole sometimes kills you in the rooms full of closets is because rush and ambush can kill you if they can see you or through proximity, so the broken pole means that rush, cans see through the broken pole and kill you.

W 2 months late reply, this is false, i did NOT know at the time but: the pole being broken or intact does not matter, the safe spot is an RNG Safe spot, you need some luck for it to work *if the exit/next door is centered if the door's on the far right then it should be 100% safe (kind of risky for ambush though)

@@exobytesRBLX interesting... i think that rush and ambush doesnt go around smoothly, they just kinda teleport from one place to another near location until they reaches their destination, but since it is so fast it looks like moving. the ss does expose you to rush or bush path, but if rush and bush moves in a way that they didnt see u cuz they didnt tp to a position where they could have saw u

its due to raycast, which will kill the player in a certain radius assuming nothing is between them. rush and ambush count the broken space between the pole as a gap. i’m pretty sure though, rush and ambush’s raycast kind of “despawn” when they reach the door. it is not rng, it’s based on the length between you and the door, which is why this works. your best bet is to keep holding w / going forward in the safespot, which always works for me.

@@sw1ngh According to linxy, rush falls through the floor after he reaches the next door, but raycast is still active, so if you exploit and fly below the next door, rush can still kill you. the same thing probably apply to ambush, as both a-60 and a-120 falls through the floor when they are done with their job

The reason some spots are safe for rush but not for ambush, is that ambush has a special ai called: Raycast AI, which kills the player instantly on sight. For some reason, Rush does not have a Raycast AI, meaning he cant kill instantly in sight, another reason is that Ambush's Hitbox is much bigger then compared to rush. here is what Raycast AI is: Raycast Pro offers a suite of AI features deeply integrated with macOS, aiming to increase productivity and make coding smarter and faster. The tool allows you to access ChatGPT, OpenAI’s language model, at any moment, turning your Mac into an intelligent assistant. Well i guess they love ambush more then rush😥 I like all entities including Rush and Ambush because they make the game more fun and scary!

Raycasting is not ai, it is a game tool widely used in game development where a ray (line) is formed between two vector points (positions). For DOORS, Ambush casts ray casts on every player. If nothing is obstructing the ray between the two, then ambush will kill them.

Rush DO have Raycast, but it's hitbox is smaller, Ambush's is bigger

One spot you missed: you can hide on the inside of the destroyed wall in a Rooms exit room (you have to switch positions midway through an A-120 encounter if they rebound though.) Sadly, this does not grant In Plain Sight. Edit: two new spots I’ve found for A-60 but haven’t tested for A-120 are: 1: lodged between the small whiteboard and the glass wall in the projector room 2: between the wall and the staircase in the staircase room (this one’s placement is pretty lenient)

Nothing works against A-120, he will go directly to you so you can't hide in plain sight.

SO HELPFUL I didn't know about the one in the greenhouse and I see how I died to rush when I played doors for the 10th time, it was when he said 'poor positioning'

In this Update, Ambush Will Now Check Any Nook And Cranny. So if Your Hiding In A Locked ‘+’ Shaped Room, in one of the rooms in the corners, if you hide in those corners, it’s lethal when your hiding there, so you have to actually hid in a closet, bed, and basement if possible

Technically, it's safe, because you didn't mention which corner isn't safe, but if you crouch at the corner of the room near the middle + middle of the "+" place, just hide in the corner and maybe if something is blocking their vision, it's possible

If you enter the + room, make sure to go to the 2 rooms at the back of the room, as rush or ambush may pass through the front two rooms, if the door is on the left or right.

Wrong. It’s in the locked t room, there are 4 rooms. Ambush and rush take the fastest path, so if the door is on the left or right, they are bound to go through the room

I actually got the fireplace to work in super hard mode. Basically I was playing with my friend and whenever one of us dies, the other person has to die too. So I acted like I was dumb and hid in front of the fireplace. To my surprise, it worked. 🤯🤯

i would like to mention that there is also a safe spot in the blocked library-like room with a desk and the broken window you have to crouch through you can survive rush if you crouch in the center behind the large desk, and although the positioning is somewhat strict it has saved me at one point !!

6:25 that's because the next door is open, because rush sees you after going into the next room. Btw, when rush opens doors, he disappears.

Hiding away from entity without using closets or bed

Cart hallway glitch- As you said earlier, you don’t know if the loot closets between rushs path will work. It does. You’d have to go on top of the chest, if there is one, and open it while on top. this works like the closet glitch. just make sure there’s a chest inside!

This is soo useful while playing doors. I you remember these spots it might just be impossible to die to rush or ambush

it only works for rush sometimes, i've seen multiple people hide there (from rush) at the same time, some died, and some survived, same position, rush is pretty buggy, and this 100% won't work for ambush

The way the entities kill you is raycast a ray (a very small line starting from the entity) onto your head every fram. If it hits a wall nothing happens, if there's nothing blocking that line, you get killed

@@familykleparek329 Yes, there's a radius, that's why you can see him without nothing blocking until he gets close. The radius for ambush is a lot larger too

2:23 for the corners in T shaped rooms, tables and drawers will not work If you open drawers and rush is coming it is a safe spot (as of 23/10/23) There needs to be uncollected gold in the top drawer for it to work (not tested for ambush) 5:11 you can just walk inside the gap in the wall but make sure rush/ambush cant see you 5:42 make sure whenever you encounter this room, head straight to the basement as rush/ambush can spawn and the basement is a guaranteed safe spot. 10:40 wouldnt recommend standing up in this spot. This spot can fail as it is not 100% successful. If you hide behind a closet inside those early closet rooms sometimes it can fail. Wouldn't recommend hiding upstairs in those staircase rooms where the exit door is right ahead to the entrance to the room as it can fail. random tip: if halt spawns after second seek chase then ambush won't spawn and if ambush spawns BEFORE second seek chase then he might be coming back for seconds after the second seek. (not tested with mods involving ambush) Most of these spots may not work as of 23/10/23 since they may have patched the hiding spots. edit: if you enable "room for more" modifier, many spots won't work for A-120 you will most likely need a closet. also A-90 likes to spawn in before another entity attacks even inside of the rooms without this modifier enabled.

no rush would also be able to get you there if there was no bed but he has a different raycasting origin so he cant see you in some spots because his vision gets blocked there

I have survived a rush encounter in the room where you have to go through a side room because the main path is blocked and then crawl out the window by standing in the very corner, and when I tried again but did not stand exactly in the corner rush got me

He is in the fan base, Ambush and A-90 are my favorites though. And umm seek, A-90 isn’t an entity from the hotel.

There is a safe spot from A-60 in rooms in the metal bridge rooms if you go downstairs there and dont hide you will not die but dont risk it for A-120

You can hide in any + or T shape room by just going all the way down the end of a hall the entity isnt going down, no need to even actualy hide

2 safe spot in the infirmary don't hide in the bed hide behind the bed close to the door sometimes it don't work i did that it work

there is another safe spot for rush in hotel bedrooms, if the room is L like shape the plant in the front or left if you enter from the bed area that plant blocks rush's hitbox

I recently found one, it's again behind the luggage however the hiding spot is in the T shaped room where there is a barrier of bookshelves and closets. Not yet confirmed if it works for Ambush.

Rush came for me in a modifiers match, I went the wrong door and dupe saved me but an A-60 deleted my hp

they buffed ambush's hitbox so back then whenever ambushes hitbox either touches ur head or ur legs he would get u but nowdays they made it janky if any part of ur body touches the hitbox then lets say it wont end well

Also i forgot but on the basement room you can hide on the vent for a 120 (you need to stay on the middle of it and position yourself correctly)
