Society will always consider novelties to be the death of what they know and love until they are replaced by a generation that have always experienced these novelties as what _they_ know and love. Elitism is rampant in the classical community, so I’m grateful that you’ve made this! Enjoying the video so far.

Auto tune wasn't used so much in the 60's and 70s andeven 80s.With Art Garfunkel, Eric Clapton, Queen and others found on Wings of Pegasus one can hear singers who didn't use or need sounded great. Some used it for a few notes, others got it used without the artists permission on a album that once did not use it. Then you can hear the auto tune taking away the nuances of the singers voice, vibrato, overall tonr who is good at hitting the expected notes. So I think, be prudent don't use it on everything.

Nothing can ruin music? Autotune can (and does). :)

@@KeepitClassical I think I didn't. That someone or something ruins music is just a phrase. Criticism on composers and performers is as old as music. Its the same in other forms of art. I listen to a Dutch podcast. A panel gives their opinion on recordings. Someone raved about a Mozart sonata. Another said it ruined Mozart.

@@guidoroemer81 Hyperbole makes for poor (and I would say lazy) criticism. That's the point of this video ♥️
