Aidens shadow should show the outline of whatever clothes your wearing and when running with the knife, it's small but distracting to see how goofy it is in the shadow plus we should be able to see each others flash light

Honelstly the overall update is pretty good ! BUT, there are many things that still makes me feel bitter. For example, when coming towards bandits and renegades while holding a gun, they don’t even react to that… In the first game bandits would raise their hands when you had a gun. The skyboxes has been updated but the sun and moon doesn’t move. I also am not a huge fan of the fact that you must grind the new missions in order to get firearms I would have prefered to be able to find them by exploring the city. I am still very happy with the update, but I feel like they still have some work to do in order to make the game better (or at least to make it on par with the first game)

They keep doing it too, while guns are a great new addition they did it the most lazy way possible. They hid them behind a grind wall to force play time and just copied them all over from the first game.

imo firearms should not be findable on the map. The entire point is that they're rare, and that the only way to get them is through a cache that was found.

Its kinda stupid that they didnt include renegades using guns like in e3, at least they could make them use scorpio and not just give it to us in form of an event, now every time you start a new game you have an OP weapon which is great but its stupid in my opinion. They’ll probably come at a later date as a new enemy variety. Probably doing it this way since it’s too soon for everyone in Villador to get guns

Not to mention the fact that aiden's feet floats in water, like come on its an easy fix

One thing I noticed is that most of my armor now have knuckleduster damage up, before I only had 3 gear with that perk and now it’s on nearly all of them

@@syrrith5768 yeah I ended up getting pretty good gear eventually but it was tank gear and I usually use brawler gear for one handed weapons

Guns in dl2 feel so much better than the ones from dl1 they sound better too imo

wow what a surprise that the guns are better in the game in 2023 than in the game from 2015. I just mean that this has to be in the game from the release and not after 3 years...good they added it but there were guns in DL 1 since the release so...

They are much better, very lazy for them to just copy them over but they’re definitely improved. They most certainly should add more guns from the first game but they really need to add new stuff.

after so long im finally excited again to hop back in DL2 and play this new update. so many cool new things to do!

The quest board gives you a blueprint for the rending knife throwing knife, a skull paraglidwr and a blueprint for the angle of villedor two hand axe

Not gonna lie, the guns are awesome, the animation team did an excellent job with it, but i still feel like the guns are a bit too weak. I did some damage tests on the highest difficulty (hard difficulty), with no gear on (which means that i had no damage bonus from any gear) and here is what i concluded: i did the damage difference test on goons, btw. exotic machete, 768 damage: it took about 12-13 hits for him to go down. first shotgun obtained at level 3 on jai, 2400+ damage: it took about 12-16 shots to the head for him to go down. idk, it might be just me, but it just doesn't feel right. Anyway, i'm grateful for the update and i think it's a huge W, but some improvements are always welcome.

also the fact that ranger gears arent applied to guns is also just sad. I tested it so there really is no point of using ranger gears unless you like to play bow/crossbow

This update is definitely a good step in the right direction. But for me, the best and easiest thing they can do for make the map more unique and diverse is : Add an entrance and an exit to each abandoned store. This would give the player a reason to cross them to do parkour and not just enter them to collect resources. This modification of the abandoned stores would give them a usefulness close to that which we see in the e3 2018 trailer. To make this possible, I will advise removing the volatile spawn in these buildings and replacing it with sleepings virals. Of course, I also recommend modifying each abandoned store and boutique to make them more unique and interesting to explore.

This update is incredible. I mainly love using the scorpio weapon.

Wow i love the Idea of an Live service Story mode game which keep adding new content to keep it fresh. But you have to admire Their dedication to the game.

I hope that they will soon add the option of using the weapon sight as in DL1, especially for Scorpio, as aiming at a longer distance is tiring

I think they did a good job making a vendor for guns so you have a reason to keep playing and play longer so techland can make more guns

I like it. You just do the mission for the pistol, then you keep at it for the rest of the guns. The shotgun looks so juicy.

@@kade8592 😂 the same 3 missions? Over and over again. All exactly the same enemies same locations. No loot during them. Bugged bounties. No rp for them (has to be bugged) thought of doing these hundreds of times actually pains me. Who thought this was a good idea???!! Insane!!

​@@llcoolcplays thing is you literally just need to do a few bounties. I only did 3 weeklies and 6 dailies, plus the daily rp for each mission and I already unlocked all the weapons (except for golden variant). And i did the 10 missions weekly under an hour because of how easy it is

I'm playing this game since the beginning. Not for a few month. But in the last couple of weeks I started this game from the beginning. And the changes are noticable. I'm happy with them. Even the menus in the stores look nicer.

The new agent symbol looks like the game division logo and I wonder one day they’ll put a mode where the whole world of dying light two looks exactly like 2019 demo trailer I freaking love how it looked.

Bug

Some buildings inside are overgrown with vines, bushes, grass, and moss inside of it. What a good update.

this update is really awesome i am looking forward on how will techland implant different mechanics to gunplay. I hope they utilize X13 to get some rare gun types (snipers, mg or even grenade launchers, or just op versions of gun types that we got) or attachments. I know there are different outcomes for X13, but they could use other X designated buildings that we havent seen yet like X-12 for example.

I'm glad the guns don't shake around all weird in the characters' hands like they did in the old engine

They should have made the flashlight as how it is showing in photo mode. That completely changes the atmosphere. I hope that what nightmare difficulty will bring.

Finally a reason to redownload and replay the game once more 🙏🗣️🔥🔥

Amazing video ali! Ali you who have a direct connection with techland Could you suggest that they return the "Gritty" filter that they added in the previous updates plz It looked great the filter but now it's all dull and gray again

Good video, really happy that finally guns were add to the game besides the other changes, hope it can reach a point where dying light can be almost the game that was expect even though that should time ago, but better late than never

To Aim on ps5 is R3, you have to have precise aiming skill unlocked.

Hey quick question not related to the upfate, but what do you do when a collectible is glitched, got all of the tapes except one, its the col. Williams #6 in the revenant area west of the vnc tower. Tried day and night and even tried going into someone elses game to do it (should I try that a few more times) or is there a better way to do it?

Shame the Lost Armory quest for Delta is glitched out on console. Game doesnt complete the survivor board correctly and leaves you in limbo. cant sleep, fast travel or talk to any vendors and usually cant die to reset it. quitting the game doesnt count the quest progress even though after you finish the board it tells you to talk to delta

There’s a glitch going around whenever you leave a survivor mission it bugs out and says your still in the mission or doesn’t let you teleport

Ay I just found out that the GRE aberration’s count for most of the new chapter’s bounty.

For anyone grinding tokens and xp on console... you can just change ur date 9 days later so you can keep doing toxic work environment with the weekly bonus. I got lvl 10 and 3000 tokens in 2 hours

When ur doing the lost armory mission and then when u need to do a survivor mission set ur game to singleplayer if u dont its bugged

Can u talk to Techland about LimbPoints.. shooting the renegades in the leg should drop them.. an head shots should be automatic.. thats the FPS hidden rule... and its a bonus for us with good aim!.. it just feels good!

I think you can pick up modded or glitched weapons. I dropped some for another player and they couldn't pick them up, he said it told him "this item doesn't belong to you". Also, I hard a hard time picking them back up.

They honestly should have added more variants for each gun, just the same models from the previous game. It’s not a bad thing except I wanted something new. Plan on getting this game soon!

I really have to give it up for Techland as a company. Developers who stand by their single player games like this into the future are rare. The only other ones I can even think of is CDPR. There’s pride behind their products. I can respect that

Long way to go i just started the game 😢 I'm at level 2 now

On the new dlc they need to add the dune buggy’s back and enemies in that dlc area enemies should have firearms…🔥

is it just me, or whenever i run these missions solo, they spawn me in the spot i was in before the screen blacks out, and it doesn't give me the stuff? ive restarted the game and redone the missions, but it only worked for the first mission, idk why

Hi guys i have a question when im doing quests to increase jai rep its often almost everytime its bugged it shows the screen that i finished it but then nothing change zombies are constantly spawning and the game will literally keeps on killing when i go to far from the quest even tho i finished it and when i go in to the menu then the progress of missions to get higher rep from jai wont save co i cant level up the reputation and cant get the Guns

on ps and it says push down stick to aim same as using your sense ability but it doesnt work so cant even aim gun anyone else having this problem?

I really do rate this update, but I can’t help but think firearms need the ability to remap your ADS (aiming down sights)… pressing R3 on controller to aim during an intense shooting interaction really doesn’t register with me, as every game I’ve played is always a back trigger to aim. I naturally want to use the back left trigger to aim and I personally feel a button remap feature could be beneficial now that firearms are in the game.

I was hoping they would add a hunting rifle or something so I could complete the urban hunter look

I bought that neon AR from the shop. Redeemed it, and it disappeared. Then I can't collect Scorpio harpoons or gun ammo from my stash because my "inventory is full". Can anyone help me fix this?

I mean, that's amazing they finally added firearms, but they're the exact same ones from Dying Light 1 with a tweak here or there. Hopefully they add a better assortment instead of reskins

they also changed the gritty filter, it's much grayer, it doesn't look very nice... the old coloring was much more attractive

Techland absolutely went beyond my expectations, and the fact we haven't seen everything yet makes it even better. It's good to finally have a purpose to play this game again for us who reached level 250, and the better part it's that it feels less grindy to level up with increased XP Boost for New Game+ and the board quests

If anyone is struggling on the ferry survivor mission shock arrows are you best friend

I like the update.one thing i wanna say is that.making and developing a game is not east,its hard work.

I’ve done the bounty for run boy run and it won’t count for some reason

300 levels, with less outfits than dl1 is crazy

Fixing to grab the gun that didn’t glitch out for me 😢 I didn’t get my pistol In my stash

My biggest problem is the game crashes when trying to sleep a lot to buy stuff from vendors and crashes from doing the gre anomaly a lot of times it will eventually crash and it’s definitely not my pc. I have tried everything to keep it from crashing and this is the only game I have that will crash. So I just avoid doing the gre anomaly and sleeping in the bed a lot.

I'm kinda confused why enemies don't have guns also. I mean, I understand it would change the gameplay by alot but it's weird being the only person in Villador holding a strap

Wish I could dismantle every item in my stash because after this update techland duplicated a bunch of non droppable items in my game and it pisses me off that my game is always glitched. It says i can claim the wyvern glider but ive already claimed it once

My pilgrim outpost got glitched. I did the 60 sec chase bounty but it only counted 45 sec but counted it completed on my game. 😢
