ESPN is the only 24 hour sports and now politically woke channel there is so they have no competition in this genre. FS1 gave up on the 24 hour sports thing long ago so to say that SAS is number one isn't anything special. ESPN has been in decline for years. Many have 'cut the [cable] cord so less revenues. Many disliked some of the 'woke' attitudes they have shown, especially their position with the 'take the knee' protest during the National Anthem at sports events. They also don't have the rights to certain sports they used to, have too many channels, their website is lousy. That SAS wants such big money, likely so he can say he, as a Black man, is the highest paid sports commentator.
