@Michael-eq1ru yes it is. TB barely got in last year. Their biggest in division competition just got a LOT better. Baker is also inconsistent. He has up years and down years. TB fans think they got their guy. Browns fans thought the same, only to be let down every other year.

I'm an OG (that's Old Guy) from Cleveland. I've been a Baker fan from the start and now I have two teams to follow - the Browns and the Bucs. Thanks for sharing this video!

I agree and No one ever points out the fact of how Baker injured his shoulder, ( threw an interception and tried to make make the tackle )or the fact that Kevin Stefanski should have never let him play with that injured shoulder and that's why he had such a bad numbers. As a coach you should never let your quarterback play injured like that. That's why I have no faith in Stefanski

Coming from an eagles fan, I’m actually happy for Mayfield getting an extension, as he was able to find his footing again in Tampa. I just hope he keeps his footing.

As a Bucs fan, yes! I am absolutely excited about having Baker back for the foreseeable future. He did a job last year and im excited to see him get better!

I've thought Baker has been getting a raw deal since the Browns released him and am quite happy for him, and this is coming from a dyed-in-the-wool Bengals fan. I hope Baker finds a lot of success in Tampa (An absolutely gorgeous city by the way).

Baker Mayfield lived Madden Superstar franchise mode we all strive to play through. Dudes a darn legend!!

I love this I'm a Baker Mayfield Fan and I love how him and Mike Evans just connected and I bet you Mike told Tampa that if they brought Baker back he would take a team friendly deal cause Mike could have broken the bank if he wanted to he is still one of the most dominant receiver's playing right know and I am also a big Mike Evans Fan also so I just love this pairing I just didn't realize how great they would be together this is awesome.

🥰 So happy for him and his family. He embodies what never giving up means. He was flexible and patient.

As a Browns fan, I can honestly say I'm happy to see Baker succeed. I wish we would have given him more time, but I'm glad he found the place to call home.

I'm glad he's finally got a chance with a receiver core to show he's a good qb. I wish my vikings would have gone after him.

In his four playoff appearances, Baker has played GREAT football. Let's not forget that this year alone there were ten dropped passes that were perfectly catchable in the playoffs. The BUCS could've easily beaten the Eagles by ten more points if the receivers were catching as good as he was throwing. Same thing in the Detroit game, heck a BUC receiver spotted the Lions 7 by failing to catch a ball that was catchable. Evans dropped a dime from Baker on the three, and a BUCS DB failed to catch a pick six that threatened to get stuck in his hands and facemask letting Detroit retain possession and score. Mayfield, sacked some six times was the PRIMARY reason they were in the game. Truth be told, once the film is rolled, if the BUCs have played to BAKER'S level, they could've had a shot at going to the big game this year.

I’m happy for Baker and considering the unstable positions he was in for his start of his career with multiple head coaching changes and offensive coordinators before now getting his footing! Happy for him and curious to see how he does in Tampa.

I'm happy for Baker. I like him as a player. I love that Baker speaks his mind and is unapologetic. Baker is also really funny. If you've seen him in any of his commercials you know what I'm talking about.

I’m a Bucs fan season tix holder. I like Baker and I like our chances winning the division for a 4th straight time, and being a Cinderella story. If we upgrade our Oline and we are able to run the ball I would call this offseason a success. Defensively I’m a bit worried need a player that can get to the QB.

New name "About Time Baker"... He deserves this spot and is a great QB. He can only go up from here. He definitely deserves this more than Dak, Tua or Cousins.

The biggest issue I’ve found is that people for some reason think if you aren’t a top 5 QB you are ass. Nobody who likes baker will say he’s a top 5 QB, hell I wouldn’t even say to 10. But he’s an average Starter who can give stability and wants to win

💯% agree with this statement. Besides. As my Bengals have proven, a top tier QB is only as good as his offensive line and his defense

Seems like a win-win for both Mayfield and the team. They have a decent starting level QB, some other good players, will be competitive in the division, he and the team members respect and like each other, while not cheap, it was still a reasonable price and better for both to go with what you know, not get into a bad situation.

Good for Baker Mayfield, he seems to be a solid leader and football player. The Browns blew it.

Now that's a QB taking a team Friendly deal. Basically not trying to break the bank but still taking a decent wage. He's still making millions and if you play your cards right and you don't blow your money like some of these stupid players do you can still live comfortably.

Dang, Mike. So many vids! I'm so happy for Baker, it's nice to see him thrive AND finally get paid. Environment is everything.

Baker was screwed over in Cleveland. Glad he's back with the Bucs. So happy we drafted Mike Evans Rd 1 Pick 7. Odell Beckham, Jr. was a good pick at Rd 1 Pick 12. He was great up until the end of the 2019 season. Kelvin Benjamin went Rd 1 Pick 28. One great season followed by a solid sophomore campaign. Then got derailed and was never the same.

As a Bucs fan I like it. It saved us draft capital and the pain of developing a young qb. We just need to seriously fortify the o-line. It’s been awful since 2022.

Happy for Baker! He deserves a real chance to play for a complete team.

As a Saints fan, I think this move sucks. As a fan of Baker, I think it's a great deal for him and the Bucs. I've been a believer in Baker since he started with Cleveland and this is his first opportunity, since his career started, where he has a stable environment. He definitely has the ability and work ethic to be an elite level QB that can take the Bucs to a championship. I'll be cheering on the Bucs in all but 2 games next year.

Teams have always had Baker as the 'until we get the next one' Quarterback, which is unfair to him, he plays with everything he's got. Glad to see he's getting a solid contract.

The Bucs can be considered a contender for the SB for sure. Mayfield is taking a page out of Brady’s book and so is Evans. Get paid a little less to build a solid team and collect your bag after you win it all for doing so.

They can win with Baker. Is he Tom Brady? No. Is he a good NFL QB? Yes. He has a lot of experience, he’s now been in several different systems, he’s still very confident and he showed last year he can be a dangerous weapon.

I said it would happen, and thank God I was right. Baker is truly HIM and it's about time an organization actually believe in him. He's a great player and great dude to have in the locker room. I believe he can win and I think now is the time we really see it.

One of my favorite stories from last year was Baker Mayfield playing well for the Bucs.

This is not an undervalued contract. This is what the QB market should be. A decent wage, a decent pay grade. Not breaking the bank but still living comfortably. If you can't live off $50 to $80 million guaranteed you got problems

As a patriots fan and a baker mayfield fan, I was rooting for Tampa all last year. Always thought baker was better than people gave him credit for. Sure he can be inconsistent but dude is so good when he gets going. Reminds me a bit of Brett Favre, gunslinger and wants a big play every play. Except he’s gotten smarter. Since the Pats are a mess I’ll be rooting for Tampa again next year, and my pats too of course.
