The fact that they're still making these for every album and publishing them for free is nuts. They're such good additives to the release cycle, and they always get me _cranked_ for the album.

I mean to be fair these docs are just great advertising for the album/band, the band members companies & just generally maintaining their social capital as leaders in the scene by keeping it all open and honest with fans - and these guys are one of the best at that. Like there's basically a Golden Lantern coffee ad at the start and I'm totally here for it haha

I’ll usually only listen to the album a couple of times, but I’ve watched the documentaries 4-5 times each. I really enjoy them

@@michaeljvandyck i just dont know why bands dont do this more! Make tiktoks make behind the scenes youtube videos of albums and tours. Make more live videos. Make all the content you can. Higher odds the algorithm pushes your videos out. Higher chance for exposure. And more revenue. Im sure some reason is contracts with the record companies but Periphery is on their own

Man, I love these documentaries so much. I really do miss the old shitpost studio updates that Misha used to randomly drop, but I'm definitely grateful this band has been around and doing what they do for as long as they have. I'm very excited, thank you for your hard work on this album and documentary! I'm so pumped to watch.

The switch through glass table was an absolute power move.

Seeing the short clip of Nolly gets the blood pumping. That golden formula is still at work to get that sound we all cant get enough of.

Don't know what it is but Misha and the guys seem to be genuine and good natured humans. Love these vids.

Now it's 2023, and we have Periphery V, who knew you guys would still be going strong 13 years later, so glad to be able to witness the years of Periphery's growth and Evolution. I still go back to the older albums to. I hope you'll have some older sounding songs from the older albums to. Great video 🕯🎃💀🕯🎸

Wow Spencer's vocals really have come a long way. I love the Juggernaut motifs as well. I am so happy you guys are still here with us and maturing with each and every record you put out. I have yet to see you boys perform in NYC (I missed evey NY show lol) but I can't wait to hear the new stuff.

So pumped for this. I love these documentaries almost as much as the albums themselves. I still watch the olds ones now and again. There's just something inspiring about pulling back the curtain and seeing how you guys work, interact and just enjoy each other's company.

What a creative and clever group of artists. So glad we have these guys putting out amazing music and who don't stop pushing the genre.

These documentaries are phenomenal. Each release I can’t tell if I’m more stoked about the music or the documentary. They are such a great addition to the albums and reveal so much about the process.

I have watched every Periphery documentary so many times, one of my favorite aspects of every record release. Thank you for continuing to document all of this.

I love that they're still doing these. Just wish there was behind the scenes stuff on p1 since production wise that's the most unique of their albums.

please never stop doing these documentaries. It gives us so much hype and so much background about the creation of the album. Almost no band does that and for me it's always like the small candy bag before the album drops that you can't get your hand off of it and you keep rewatching it in hope to hear something you didnt hear at first haha! You're crazy! I love you all so much!

The graphics on these new RPGs just get better and better

I'm glad that Mark brought up how their songs begin. I think I have hundreds of pieces that I have recorded primarily so I don't lose the idea (because I freaking work all the time) as well as just stupid voice recordings into my phone where I am humming in ideas because I get a lot of ideas when I drive. Maybe I need half a car in my studio. I go back and listen to all these parts and some of them are a couple of years old. I realize that some of those parts are part of some song in my head trying to get out! The bad thing is, I was a bassist first and getting any other musician on my plane has been impossible. I'm an older guy so all my friends have a static mindset locked in a by gone era and my responsibility to family prevents me from chasing that passion with younger guys with no ties. So I have learned all the instruments as my former musical companions fade in a time warp. That said, I'm finally getting done what I set out to do....now that my ability to play the other instruments has finally caught up to the vision. THIS band just has me captivated because they are so much in line with where I was trying to take my guys in the 90's (we actually started in 1988). The music is heavy, challenging, textured, brutal and also elegant. I has enough of a commercial edge to give it a broad appeal and yet so much complexity to merit high respect from any good musician! I pre-ordered my copy of the new album and my swag! I am anxiously waiting! You guys are great!
