One of the whammy sounds resembled the sound a rat makes when you whack it in old school runescape.

I almost bought that version of the Holcomb SVN, but I liked the other one better and ended up buying it. Great guitar and great cover!

Thank you! 🤘🏼😁 my usual setup is directly to the Axe-FX since it’s also technically an audio interface as well!

What's the effect used in the ending breakdown to lower the pitch? Octaver?
@SaulRamosMusic
Жыл бұрын
The effect I used for this one was a pitch shifter actually! Just bringing down the entire tuning of the guitar by a few pitches the further down the breakdown goes!
Does the part at 1:33 remind anyone else of that one section in CHVRCH BVRNER
Would you mind going over your patch in the Axe fx for this song? I've been struggling to get something similar.

Yeah I can do a video going over the tones I used for it! More then happy to!
What's the best pedal to use for the job? I am assuming the Axe FX multi controller? I just bought my first Axe FX/FXIII. I used to have a Kemper 10 years ago. I took a 7 year break and just got back into everything. I have always wanted an Axe FX and now I am debating what sort of pedals to run. I'm primarily at-home studio, but perhaps I'll take things mobile some day. TL;DR - do you think the Axe FX floor controller is all-in-one problem solver? Should I consider any analogue pedals like Horizon devices stuff? or just stick with the Axe FX and the controller? Thanks in advance. Oh - I'm trying to get the best sound but minimize the amount of gear Currently, I am using Neural DSP Scarlet 1st gen i86 interface M-Audio BX* 15x10x12 with 8" Speaker Monitors Korg Minilogue 6 varrying guitars and the Axe FXIII should come soon

Hey Christopher! So everything you ran by me sounds very similar to what I have in my at-home studio set up as well. I’ll answer the questions in order below: 1. The axe Fx Fc controller is a great tool that I use everyday when using my axe fx it’s great in helping switch between scenes and different effects for when you are playing. I would also recommend the expression pedal, which I briefly go over on this video. (For me this personally was an all in one problem solver) 2. For horizon devices stuff, there actually is the precision drive already embedded into my axe fx rig. (Fractal included the pedal in their drives as part of a software update) any other analog pedals would be your personal preference, I find almost everything that I look for inside of the Axe-FX but everyone’s different. I’m sure I’ll eventually add an analog set up to my axe-FX. I hope I answered your questions and if you have anymore feel free to reply!
