The Fund has gone on to save 44 million lives in low & middle income countries by investing into the treatment & prevention of AIDS, TB & malaria - three deadly diseases.
But COVID-19 had a catastrophic impact on this work. As a result, this month - September 2022 - the Global Fund is seeking a 30% increase in its three-yearly funding call to rebound from the effects of the pandemic and continue protecting everyone, everywhere.
We urge the UK Government to pledge increased support.
