This was very helpful. When struggling to break-up my animation I will, "Consider the Coconut."

It definitely makes approaching complicated shots for manageable.
There was artist in the classroom who was 'daydreaming', and then the teacher asked: "Why aren't you doing the Bouncing Ball Exercize like everyone else?" Then this video happened. 😸 As an animator with some background, I've learn to see the 'Masses-in-Motion' in a different, special way [than 'everything as Bouncing Balls]', but I will never deny that, this is a legit, genius concept, made by an insightful artist. A way of Motion Deconstruction. Brilliant!
This is the POWER of bouncing ball.
I love everything about anim school can't wait to join this awesome community
Fantastic, idea!!! Everything starting out as spheres is a clever idea. I will definitely use this. I never thought of this. Great concept, thank you very much!!!
Three weeks ago I didn’t understand what this meant at all. But now I really am starting to see it.
this was awesome, thank you for making this video! I will use this in the future
This is really changing the way I view animating!

wow....thank you
wow awesome
Thanx😊
this is great stuff thanks, to be honest i think its a good idea to think about the whole character as a sphere but the one with 9 spheres feels impossible to do before the animation(spheres on every body part)
Ur owesme!
Freud would be proud of this video, somehow.

In the industry, is it a good idea to animate a bouncing ball like this first because it would take more time, right?

Well he is an animator working in the industry, and some of the shots he showed us were from animated movies he worked on, so I think IT IS!

Do you get much support when working with spheres when on a film or studio?
One of those things that can ruin magic of end product for you, forever.
