To sew a neckline you need to pin your seam allowance down and then cut little lines along the curve to straighten the fabric out before sewing or make interfacing with left over fabric, fold it in on itself to get a raw-edge-less finish and then sew all of it together with a visible stitch the colour of your fabric.
