You should stitch that Mushroom square to the front of your green messenger bag as a little front pocket and somehow add the leaves to the strap! It would be such a cute earthy bag!

Loved seeing your beautiful work! I never leave any unfinished projects that I am never going to finish. I frog them all so I can use the yarn on a new project. That's what I do, thought I would share. That way too, I'm not having to store unwanted beginnings either, just yarn.

For your squares that are not intended for a particular project- I really love the cross body fannypack-bags, where you only need one with a motif for the center

I love these! I just started crocheting and I have made a coaster plant pot, teddy bears, book marks, dog shoes, a turtle etc. and need ideas!

For sure make a few "finnishing-unfinished -projects" videos! Most of these projects just need to become something difforent than originally intended or be saved with some ornamentation. The witchy eye granny squares are my favorites for the interesting coulor scheme, mythological feel and unexpectedly wonderful colour combo. These, or any other line of squares could be made into a vertical wall-hung tapestry, with hidden storage pockets in thhe back of the squares for secret storage. The mushroom square would do well as an ornament for the simple green bag. Your leave just need some crocheted flowers, grapes or berries on them--what fun! Your blanket is probably ideal for a scarf. Crochet a few flower onto the green bucket hat. That's just what jumps to mind.

Oooo you should do a video on completing all of your unfinished projects. The tank top is too cute and I want to see how it turns out!

i saw someone on tiktok make a "test blanket" where all the janky bits and bobs and scrapped projects and practice/test squares etc were all stitched together into one huge blanket, maybe you could to that with the unfinished projects! its basically just stitch all of it together theres no specific pattern

anything is beginner-friendly if you have enough dedication. the first thing i ever crocheted was a pair of lace gloves from a 1930s written pattern with no pictures

from 2018 to 2023 i had lots of unfinished projects, some are done, i started some new ones lol i call this yarn creativity madness in my book

You've made some amazing things! I thought those lanterns were really a great idea. Your bag of ufo's totally stressed me out 🤣 i made myself a promise years ago to 1) never have more than three wip's at any given time and 2) if i can't frog it and save the yarn it gets thrown away. I had a collection of projects like yours just gathering dust and every time i looked at it i was filled with dread. I decided that wasn't great for my spirit so that's when i made the commitment to never do that again. Around the holidays when I'm making lots of gifts i might go over that three projects at a time rule but normally i'm really good about sticking to my self imposed guidelines 🙂

You could do a video where you write down all your unfinished projects on slips of paper, and then put them in a jar and draw one at random! That might be fun. Or it could be torture. :P

You should make fishnet gloves in the collar lavender fading to baby pink.

For a lot of your unfinished project, you can just change the project. The blanket that was with too thin of a hook is the perfect size for a scarf. The squares that you got tired of making can be made into a vest or a hat. It’s okay to kill your darling and even better to transform them
