As a first time mum myself who is due this winter, I just felt like I had to comment after reading some of the unnecessarily nasty messages on this video in the hope you’d read this one - I’ve bought things for our nursery that people wouldn’t class as a ‘necessity’... White noise machine, sleepyhead, little outfits that they’ll probably grow out of quicker than I can change them into etc! I get the most joy from buying things for my baby and if that last 15 minutes or 15 months who is anyone else to judge if it’s your own money that you’re spending... You keep on being excited and buying whatever it is you’d like to buy for your little bub... As for people telling you things are unsafe, you’ll cause your baby harm, ignore them and give them no mind... You’ve done your own research and you’re happy with YOUR choices for YOUR baby. I’m only saying this because I’ve had down days where people have said such flippant things to me about bottle prep machines, sleeping arrangements, growbags and it does nothing but cause an already nervous pregnant lady to doubt herself even more so just know that you’ve totally got this, you’re going to be great and you’re the best person to make the best choices for you and your baby. X

Wow , People are rude, When I had my first baby I had everything I wanted for MY Child.......I will be honest that some of them I didnt find I had to have but as I planned on having more children I knew I would use them again. You have what you like ignore the rudeness I think these people have forgotten that they once were first time parents !! You will learn as you go along, just like we all did xxx The one thing you may find handy is Infracol I used this for my colicky baby , so this was the first thing along with dummies lol, I bought for my second child xxx

How many weeks in did you start buying bits? Especially the big bit? I’m 18 weeks and other than a few clothes haven’t started buying yet and not sure when to bite the bullet xx

I have kids and the best and only baby milk suites all mu was cow & gate! No constipated babies they thrieved on it ! You should def look it up they use try in hosp to put babies on sma! It never filled babies up ! Had friends use it! Cow & Gate newborn milk! 3 girls 2 boys and my boys were hungry babies so after 6 weeks I changed the hungry baby cow & gate! I got so many family and friends to use it’ it def next mil for baby! Some milks now never heard of honestly mine had no cilice slept all night from 6/8 weeks best all 5 ppl couldn’t believe how lucky I was to have such good babies ! So def look it up xx

I just wanted to say that the head Thermometer is the most inaccurate one ever

The toothpaste is for you not the baby. It comes in the bounty pack and is for women during pregnancy. It comes with a little leaflet saying women develop dental problems during pregnancy and this toothpaste apparently helps x

I'm Irish too. I had the same strict Catholic upbringing you've had. I've never worn a top that shows my cleavage. I'm 31 and I've never dressed sexily - it has ridden me with all sorts of fecking issues but I'd NEVER put that shit onto someone else who was fortunate enough to not be indoctrinated from birth. So grow the frick up ffs. Don't you dare bring others down for our cultures very short comings in this new modern era.
