I would suggest investing in a hammer mill attached to your new grain bin. Grind your grain as you need it as studies have shown improved nutrient levels and digestabilty on fresh milled grain versus grains that have been milled and sit in a grain bin for long periods. Also whole grains store better than milled grains. We grind once a week and have seen marked improvements in milk production as well as beef increases. Good luck and congratulations on the new baby!
