I love this film. This is not a film that was made in a lab to win Oscars. It wore its weirdness on its sleeve and told an emotional story at its core.

I totally agree with you. I love that the movie and the actors started and finished with movie with no expectations of the amount of awards they have received. Unlike a lot of the movies that were released closer to the awards season, this movie was released early in 2022, with a lot of the moviegoers finding about it via social media and word of mouth. It’s incredible, the dialoue beautiful, the music amazing, the editing crazy good and the performances are nuanced and shows the performers’ range.

You got to love Spielberg's reaction! Despite changing the box-office landscape at 27, he only received Oscar recognition in his late 40s. Seeing young filmmakers who grew up watching his films win, for a delightfully weird science fiction no less, is one of Spielberg's greatest legacies.

Plus, he saw that it was SO DANG CUTE to see Ke give Harrison that huge hug, as he directed them both in "Temple Of Doom". "The 'Berg" knows what it's like to change the face of the game, and that's what the DANIELS did with that film!!! (BTW, if you haven't seen EEAAO, I implore you to seek it out. It is one of those cinematic experiences that you will never forget......)

I "finally" saw Everything Everywhere All at Once only a few days ago (late, yes, but still). For its sheer CREATIVITY, TIME and EFFORT I can only imagine it must have taken to have written, directed and compiled it and to be recognized at the Oscars, give them their kudos and respects. Such an achievement!

My favorite film of last year. I'm still just so happy. Overwhelmingly happy. EEAAO makes me feel so heard as someone who has struggled with depression and feeling hopeless at times. In a year where horrible tragedies happened, this film provided a needed break, an amazing opportunity for the Daniels to show us their creativity and a reminder that our mistakes do not make us and we are not alone.

It was probably because he knew all he had to say was “everything” and everyone in the room would know that the film had won. Which is clearly the case as they start clapping the moment he says the first word. So he slowly finishes it like “well, i don’t need to finish saying it, but I will.”
The fact this is still more viewed this years best picture winner speech says something 🤭🤭🤭
As per Geeta there are infinite birth death cycles , Parallel existance of us in infinite parallel universes and to free from all these cycles only Mokha(Liberation) is the ultimate path. What EEAAO movie shown is about one concept called parallel existsnce. Why living with love is important and not to forgot ones own Dharma and how it affects not only in one existance(like here) but also parallel existances
I bet all of the movies that was nominated are won the best picture award in other universes :D
