Back for Episode Two baby! A latecomer to Mezeporta, Zenith Gravios was an unexpected addition to the Zenith Roster, but a fun one to take on. In this report, we'll be covering the fight and how it worked in game for the Zenith Encyclopedia, to give you an idea of what this nutjob was like to fight.

Broken parts affecting the fight is one of my favorite things to notice. Might be a good topic to cover for other monsters

It is by far my favorite mechanic and funny enough some people who have fought these monsters many times never knew that it was a more prominent mechanic outside of zenith Dora. That is from what I have seen at least I might be wrong on that

honestly though, one of my biggest gripes with mainline Monster Hunter is how insignificant part breaks are for most monsters. Its more worth doing for the extra loot than it is the actual changes to the fight most of the time.

This Frontier deep dive content is my jam, I used to watch speedruns and do lots of guessing as to how things worked back before shutdown, so this is like answering some questions I've had for like years now. Hands down the most helpful frontier videos for the English speaking community along with Seph's beginners guides. Can't give enough thanks for this series, it is going to be an invaluable resource when I finally get around to actually farming Zeniths.

I just started playing recently so hopefully by the time I'm fighting these beasts there'll be more of these to work with. I love these videos, thank you!

A good way to defend vs the z4 move as a lance user is turning around guarding away from gravios. The wind of him flying up will knock you down, and the time during the animation you avoid the part of the attack that would suck you up to his back. All you have to do when getting up is block the explosion. When his chest and back are broken you no longer need to fo this anymore since you can now block the attack.

I adore Z Gravios, but thats partly because I had to grind two pieces for me, and two other armor pieces for my friend so we became so good at fighting him.

There is, but I’d wait for Sir Fist’s proper progression server. He has even implement GR progression with keys like mainline games

4:08 Bogabadorumu is the greatest example of this for me.

I'm one of the few assholes that love Gravios and Basarios (filthy gunner) and z Gravios is one of my favorite designs. He just look cool and edgy

He reminds me of coalossal from pokemon

This is a great series, i have a question: did all zenith armour sets end up using similar skills or were there any variation/unique skills?

They had skills that were their speciality for example Zenith Hyuji had a lot of points in Reflect and Reflect Up, but it wasn’t the only one with them, you know? A lot of common skills also since you got 4 skills per piece, like Strong Attack or Sword God

7:17 well the idea of Zenith Gravios is that he traded his armor for stronger firepower so it's kinda easy to see why

I’m not sure about each update to the dot as it would be hard for me to do accurately and without misinforming people, but a coverage of the meta skills could be fun 🤔
