This is such a well researched video, thank you. I have pcos as well. I am more concerned about body one currently. And am planning to go for laser perhaps a couple of years later. Initially, the reviews I read, it seemed laser is a total waste for pcos patients. But I have been doing my own research on platforms like reddit as well. And yes, despite hormonal hair on body. It does seem to work better there. And the internal work definitely helps a ton! Laser is more accessible to me than electrolysis. And seems better documented. It gives some hope in case of pcos. Personally I will be more than happy even if it grows again but as vellus hairs. Mostly, many of us do not know the full idea of laser, but an informed decision sounds rewarding. Thanks a ton for giving us your time. 💞🌻

Thank you so much for writing a well articulated comment.. Yes it affects you physically and mentally both and trust me if you go for lasers you won't regret it.. And yes electrolysis is less accessible in a city like Mumbai as well.. It is much more expensive and time consuming than lasers therefore I decided to go for this.. I'm glad finally people are resonating with me about this issue as in comparison to western countries there is less information available here.. Thanks for appreciating my efforts.. Take care 🤗 ❤️

@@DollyNair Electrolysis is barely available in India. Besides in Hyderabad and Delhi NCR. And as you said, very expensive and time consuming. And again, if it is done by someone who is not licensed, it can go wrong. And with such limited options. Does not seem to be very favourable. And laser has improved immensely, even women with very dark skin tone are getting good results when done properly in countries like USA and UK. It is there on KZread only.

First of all great video!! Ok i am someone who got immense dark and thick coarse hair on my upper lip suddenly (yes i have got pcos) but i have got a very balanced lifestyle. I have undergone suprano laser and i am done with my 3rd session, and my hairs are almost 40-50% reduced ,like my full hair growth is also not that bushy . So yes from my experience I would say suprano lasers are the best and i m still left with 3 more sessions and i am expecting really good results.

Hey I'm planning to go for LHR, as I've very thick dense hair all over my body, also my prolactin hormone is a bit high although My periods are regular. Also my skin is very sensitive. Whenever i use razor or get face waxed i get bumps all over my face.Will it be okay if i go for the laser? Will it be effective? And IPL, DIODE OR SOPRANA?

Hi! I highly recommend laser over any other hair removal methods however for pcos this isn't a permanent solution, you may have to keep doing sessions after completing the initial 6-8 sessions as recommended as hormones can always fluctuate. Soprano is the best technology, IPL is at home lasers which won't help at all, diode is also good. Go for soprano if u can. 🤗

Hi! Honestly I've never heard of doing lasers within 10 days as hair needs ro grow back and that can take upto 3 to 4 weeks., I'm not sure why would your doctor suggest you this.

Yes and the doctor will clean your face as well before the session, skin should be free of any other chemicals, oils, cream and dirt

Honestly mujhe chin and jaw par pimples sirf periods aane ki time aate hai agar aapko pehli baar aa rahe hai toh maybe hormones k wajah se hi hoga par same doctor se consult kijiye, wo aapko better guide karenge..
