You made a mistake in her ult numbers. That multiplier is not "each of those slashes", it's the total amount of possible damage added up together in the whole ult. They added that top part in the description in the second version of the beta to make it easier than calcing it all, but you can check it by calcing the numbers. They fully add up. Just to examplify how crazy "each slash" would be. That's 1200% true AOE and 1860% single target, raw. And to emphasize that more, with only the nihility trace active, she would, multiplier vs multiplier, no (de)buffs, hits 4 times as hard on a single AOE straggler, as in NOT her main target, as Daniel hits on his main target.

If I had a nickel for every time a Lightning Nihility Tall Woman was getting underrated prior to her release, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

The things is... Her lightcone isnt so strong because it boosts her ult more than any other lc. Its so strong because it boosts the Damage this much WHILE ALSO letting her use it MUCH more often.

The first team name should be PPP, the Penacony Plus Pela team or just P plus P team.

I dont know why people keep thinking a signature lightcone is "required." I have yet to see a character "require" there signature lightcone. Is it nice? Yes. But its pretty much just a luxury. You can clear hardest content in game without any signature lightcones. Just build well and use your resources correctly.

Is it recommend to farm her relic armor crit dmg or crit rate at E0? Which is the best?

I think at this point we know people were under the impression in the beginning that Acheron was going to be restrictive and just doubled down on it. Now we have seen the numbers and team comps, its really not as bad as people claim. Like all the dps units the more you invest in them will be amazing. Still just because of all the nuclear drama people are doomposting her. She will scale better with time like Kafka and Topaz and until we get that new 5 star Nihility debuffer she will still be strong without that unit, but that unit will probably push her up like Black Swan with Kafka and Sparkle for DHIL

She is also crazy good as investment unit for future Eidolon pulls, something I think people overlook too much. Everyone is all about pulling the latest and newest characters. But what about increasing investment on characters you already own, and love to play? New support units released but you dont like that much? Oh but you do have a Ruan Mei that you love to use all the time? Get another copy on her banner and enjoy a good power boost keeping her powerful -> relevant longer. I think people still have to get used to the game not being new anymore, and that planning for future pulls is starting to make more sense then only chasing FOMO.

It was pretty clear that it was a bad take that she is too restrictive because she needs 2 Nihility units on her team. Sure, you lose some damage because of that, but it's not like she won't perform if you give her a Sparkle or a Ruan Mei. She is also one of the few units you can build with 100% crit rate and 200%+ crit dmg if you have her signature LC.

I thought it was not about damage but consistency of building stacks so the rotations dont suck.

Depends on the rest of the team. Sparkle if Acheron is the only damage dealer. Mei if you have another damage dealer on the board.

Anyone tested welt+acheron yet?if yes,do u guys have some sort of bug on welt technique where despite using it. It doesn't apply in battle. At first i thought I lack EHR then I slap 112% EHR and the result is the same.

You can get away without using Pearls if you have Pela at E4 so that her skill applies a debuff. It will get skill point hungry though if you're not running Sparkle, unless the rest of the squad is skill point friendly.

Could use FMC with the 3* LC that heals every time the MC uses ult, you can play it where the MC spams its skill and ult

dose the lightcone banner spit out the featured 4 star charractors at same rate as they are spit on the carractor banners? becuase i think want to e2 her eventualy, but maby wait till next rereun becuase nee dnomore dans or pelas.

My half assed day 1 E0S0 build Acheron is able to 2-3 cycle... I don't even have the new sets yet and I'm running GNSW S2. Traces not even maxed yet. I was very much in the camp that you didn't need her LC, and she proved that easily day 1. She is so strong at E0S0 that I am rethinking if I even want to pull her LC at all now. It feels overkill lmao.

it depends if you have another healer or not, if you dont have any or only have natasha i'd probably go for luocha as he's good with dmg and healing, however if you need a dps that can put out big numbers i'd go acheron

man i have dhil and missed sparkle due to a broken phone, i can typically do fine with 1 team but i really need a solo sustain for my second team so i wanna skip and go for aventurine. i feel like between an e6 xueyi, argenti, dhil, ratio, welt and e1 yanqing (definitely not getting built lmao) and having bronya and ruan mei that i can manage good enough damage. my only fear is she seems really busted so idk if it'd be worth having a second sustainer or a more sp friendly top tier dps.

Depends on how much you want to feed skill points to your DHIL, since Luocha, a SP positive sustain, is available for now... He can't truly replace Sparkle, I admit it, but he gives skill points and that's what your DHIL seeks, right?

I would not succumb to fomo. Pick what’s best for your account. If it’s a sustainer then u have a pick of 2 really good ones in Luocha and Aventurine this patch. Always place greater importance on supports and sustainers as any dps can excel with a strong one. There is no need to fear missing out on a broken dps cause they release one every other patch almost. Word in the rumor mill is that Sam will also be extremely busted so no need to fomo. Get your sustainer and later if u need a broken dps pick up Sam when he hits

I gotta watch more clips but I’m really curious what her single target damage is. Sure she can hit a million damage against 5 targets, but how good is she when it’s only one? She’ll need to be able to hit well against only one or two targets and not just bloat the numbers by hitting 5.

Damn for someone like me who haven't got JingLiu , i prefarmed for Acheron, she helped me cleared off MOC 12, AMAZING! I even got her lightcone which gave me one cycle extra because of the damage buff

What I like about acheron is I can build debuff units that can pair well with a 2nd team with Ratio

Pulled for her soon as I got home. Lost a 50/50 but got her soon after. Pulled her cone the very next 10 pull lol. Managed to get payla a few times as well so I’m happy.

i just wanna ask, what is the main source of crit rate for acheron? is it her relic set? im kinda new and im grinding her relics, but none of them seem to give me an astonishing amount of crit rate

Mainly her relics and their set bonuses, yeah.

I wonder if when Aventurine comes out, I could sub out Pela for Black Swan, Silver Wolf, Acheron and Aventurine for a Penacony team.... Not sure it would match what Pela brings by switching her out for Black Swan, but it would be thematically accurate. Silver wolf was shown to be with Sam representing the Stelleron Hunters when we first arrived, right? Granted Silver Wolf wasn't introduced with Penacony, but it's the closest I feel we can get for people we know are at Penacony in story and are playable characters at this moment in time.

I plan on getting Acheron. E0 at least (I have Incessant rain) but I'll try S1 when I try to get S5 GNSW for Kafka. Her Trailer sold me. Even though I said I wanted to skip her cuz I didn't like her playstyle. I don't care if I have Sufficient Lightning coverage cuz I can use Acheron in MOC whenever I want too. Can't pull her right now as I don't have Access to HSR but when I get back I'll pull her

Because in an ideal scenario, you never use it (on Acheron). Even at max level, Basic Attack damage is negligible so it's purely a waste of resources.

I really wish I had Black Swan, but it would have meant putting my E0S1 Acheron in jeopardy. I think I'll likely run Acheron, SW and Pela together. I don't have Trend so not sure whether to use Fu Xuan or build Gallagher.

Pela VS. Guinaifen for Acheron/BS/Sustain?

I've been having trouble picking a sustain, I kinda wanted to use Universal Market, but Fire MC and Geppard can't keep up with higher MoC or Sam in my experience, so I'm trying to build Gallagher now but it feels bad to upgrade another 4 star, and also I'm sure we will get an Acheron BiS sustain at some point

I think gepard works fine in higher MOC's. I also don't see much reason he shouldn't work in the Sam fight, since the shield isn't reduced by Sam's fire field like healing is. You'd have trouble with the whole skills eat hp thing, but sam attacks fast and his attacks are mostly aoe, so you're likely to get a lot of trend procs, which means he'll die fast. Remember too, freeze is a debuff, so you can spam gepard's skill if you've got the other components down (like a pearls pela to basic attack every turn and a SW who should be largely sp positive), though that's probably only realistic if you have E1 (and even then you need some extra EHR). Plus in current MOC you could just bring your Acheron team against Yanqing if gepard didn't work against Sam.

I got 13K Jade with guaranteed pull hoping I get her early to pull er SLC 🙏. If not I’ll just use my E2 Welt SLC

After 2hrs of grinding I pulled her on my main. So now I’m watching this in repeat

Yeah 160 crit dmg still low if you have her LC.

Yoooo I had a s2 GNSW while watching this video, as soon as I heard "currently on banner" I went for my first yolo multi on the LC banner (new player here), I got the third copy of GNSW AND HER OWN LIGHTCONE ON THE SAME MULTI! Speechless 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

At this point, I feel like I'm trolling when I say that I'm still skipping her. It's not because I don't want her, but I really do need a second sustainer. Not to mention that, even if I did pull her and her light cone, I just don't have the resources to put towards her right now. Still planning on pulling Aventurine and potentially Jingliu's LC, but I'm definitely grabbing Acheron on a re-run. Honestly, she seems kind of...too strong. In the same way that using a Kafka/Swan DOT team feels like easy mode in most of the game.

I lost my last 2 50/50s back during ruan mei and topaz's banners respectively. Didnt really care to pull for anyone until acheron came out so i got to skip this whole argument lol. Still entertaining videos. Love to see someone pick apart the idea that a character requiring you __build a team__ doesnt mean theyre not f2p friendly

Congrats on your Acheron! So early on and as a F2P, I think a light cone will be less versatile and useful than new characters. It's probably worthwhile to do some more pulls on her character banner, though (or Luocha's in case you get another early 5 star). Pela and Gallagher are good teammates for her and both are rate up right now. As for saving: as a new player, almost any limited 5 star character will massively help your account--but on the other hand, none are strictly necessary. Luocha, who is running right now, is an excellent healer. Next banner (in a few weeks) will have Jingliu (amazing ice DPS) and Aventurine (imaginary preservation / shield unit who is rumored to be very strong). Next patch will have Robin (physical harmony / support unit) and Boothill (physical hunt / single-target dps), as well as two unannounced reruns. It's very likely Fu Xuan (amazing preservation / dmg reduction unit) will rerun, though I'm not sure who else is likely. Who you want to pull for is largely a matter of personal preference. I'd consider Robin since harmony units have been super strong, or going for one of the sustains (Fu Xuan, Aventurine, Luocha, or maybe Huohuo if she reruns).

I've been a GI player for three years now, so the pull mechanics and char considerations, as for who might be vital on which positon for your team, are kinda like the same. I took a break for over half a year, same goes for HSR, which I started on PC. I was not able to transfer my PC account over to my PS5, so Seele, Bronya and her signature LC are deeply missed. Still pissed, hahaha. So, basically, I started from scratch and so many chars have come out in the meantime, I was rather unsure how to progress this time. Still waiting for Pela, too. But as they say: Never pull for a 4 Star. Right now building Dr Ratio and TB Phys. as my main DPSs, Acheron comes next, I guess. Asta and March are in support for the time being, since my other 4 stars are not that great yet. Well, anyway, thanks again!!

@@saschaeggert2148 Oh no, not being able to transfer your account over sounds like such a pain. I think the pull strategies are very similar (though light cone banner is SO much better than Genshin weapon banner): it's important to have a few good DPS characters, but support units are really what will take your account to the next level. And yes, that's very wise--I don't advise "building pity" unless you'd be happy pulling the available 5 stars. Otherwise, it's always best to save! I'm sure you'll be busy building your current characters, anyway. Good luck and I hope you're enjoying the game!

My rainbow set 77/150 CV E0S0 Acheron deals up to 330k and 160k on 1 target. Whereas my mono quantuum team with E1 SW E1 Fuxuan and E0S1 Sparkle + 75/215 CV E0S1 Seele does the same 1 target dmg. It's hard to cope guys I need help. I should've listened to Sweetily.. Tho i'ma need her LC asap

So I just put her on my team and was holding off bc my relics are all at 0 and are TERRIBLE…mostly defense but she just did 120k and 170K damage with Ruan mei, Aventurine, Black Swan on the team. I am shooketh 😮 did not expect her to do that with the relics being at 0 and terrible substats…..her traces are all done though and main ones are at 9 and I have her light one as well

I didn't have a single copy of GNSW, so I just pulled for the LC and got it pretty early. NGL, I'm satisfied

I may not need her signature lightcone…but I dsmn sure got it! And I had like 67 pity on the lightcone banner too so it literally took 1 single pull to get it lol. Won the 50/50 on her too so we’re loaded. Just gotta get her some better relics

Was able too get e1 s1 in 90 pulls and I love using her my favourite dps in this game.

So i wait for the anniversary unit in april?

If he applies debuff, then definately him. Fu gives 12% crit (max rank, from skill aura) and easy sustain but otherwise doesn't sync well. She is a great overall sustain unit tho. Personally I would say pick the character you love the most. End of the day its more important to pull for characters you can still see yourself enjoying even 6 months or a year from now.

Pulled her on my second main with e3 Gallagher. My main account has to wait till I get up those tickets.

@@JR_Zart my Acheron is hitting harder with sparkle than with 2 nihility characters. My crit rate is around 50% so maybe that’s where I’m going wrong? But my crit dmg is 204% and my attack is 3.8k

Well, I have her on her lightcone, with 50 to 180 crit rate and damage ratio, she can do 350K+ damage with supports from Ruan Mei, Pela, and Fu Xuan. And I also have Jingliu with Herta's Shop LC S5 with 28 to 230 crit rate and damage ratio, she also can pulled out 280K to 300K damage even more with Bronya with signature LC, Ruan Mei, and Huohuo. I love both of them and they can do crazy damage. I believe that every single DPS can do good damage with proper supports, and very lucky relic stats that's why I invested in two to one, two support chara for one DPS. I'm trying to get Aventurine and Luocha if I get lucky but yeah, two versions ahead I think I'll take the support chara.

I do acheron, BS, kafka and ruan mei (or huohuo when its a more back and forth boss battle) and reach around 600k regularly i love them all sm 😭

I got her and LC though, account super lucky got her in 20 pulls, then LC i got in 50 I'm super happy, i got Acheron on alt account yeah she doesn't need LC, its just nice to have generate 9 stacks faster plus extra Crit damage is nice.

I did pull her lightcone not cause its needed but because i had one copy of pearls and s2 of gnsw but now i have both s5 and her lightcone so now pela gets her lightcone snd kafka gets to keep gnsw

I got her but not the light cone. Tbh I don't need any more characters (except for ruan mei) so I'll just spend all the jades I get this patch on the light cone banner. Great video dude!

I joined star rail about 2 weeks ago , and i dont have black swann, so if i pull for acheron right now , i cant build and play her because i cant make a good team with her, should i still pull for her?

Yes and no. Acheron is a character that will grow with your account. The stronger your account becomes the stronger she becomes. She has the highest dmg ceiling in the game currently but the only way to achieve that is with time and or money. If it were me, I would skip her now and pick up Jing Liu. Jing Liu provides amazing value for a lot less can hard carry your account through all the content in the game through straight brute force. You can hit her dmg ceiling very easily and she is extremely easy to build due to fact while in stance she provides herself with a 50% crit rate buff and a large ark buff based on the amount of hp she drains from the party. Then later if you are dead set on having Acheron on your account u can pick her up on a rerun, but at the rate at which HSR releases broken units there maybe another broken dps unit released that u may prefer to her. Word in the rumor mill is that Sam is going to be a very busted unit

acheron depends on other nihility characters in the team to maximize her potential. the best 3 characters i'd say to go with her are black swan, welt, and pela (e4 pela is probably the best out of these 3) edit: sw is good as well, forgot she existed

Actually such a W guide, the editing and everything was so clean and I love your approach to team building and everything, you can tell the genshin influence has actually been helpful for you in terms of how to not just play hypercarry and that’s it. Can’t wait to try out the Black Swan + Kafka team with her, I was talking to my friends about it before she released and hearing you hype it up has me all excited, keep up the great work!

Welt sustain with black swan and ruan mei is nuts

I went with the crit dmg planer for relics and really good gear at level 60 she has 2.75k atk, 59.5% crit rate, and 135% crit dmg. From relics alone i get over arouhd 110% atk

The only sustains I have are lynx and Natasha.. do you think I should summon for adventurine or wait for fu xuan and huohuo?

All three are very strong sustainers that provide great value to your party. I would look at the teams u are currently running and judge on who would best benefit that team

I Literally Just Pulled Acheron First Pull Luck Insane Praying For The Light Cone😅

I pulled e2s1 Acheron, best addition I've ever did to the account

The editing on this video was clean as fuck

Got her on guranteed with no plan to get her lightcone (GNSW S2) and won 50/50 on Luocha. I was gonna stop here to save for Aventurine but my gf said she was "feeling it" on the lightcone so she pulled and won the 50/50 😭 I now have Acheron + Lightcone and Luocha in one day

Alright i got her new account headed towards loufu got nothing team related to her not go pull on lightcone hopefully i make it out in one peace
