I truly think God pointed me here to this comment. I think I lack humility. I have been praying all night and all morning for God to show me why I have been stuck for so many years. I do fear the Lord because I fear I will not have pleased him and not get to be with him, but I don't think that is the fear this verse means. I pray I keep my eyes open to fully understand where I am not being humble and may repent.

I am wealthier than the average person. But I’m in terrible health so other than being able to help Christ “Great Commission” to go forward, I can’t do much of anything and I’m only 60 years old. I was raised very poor but I had an old man share the gospel with me when I was 22 years old. I raised 5 sons as Born Again Christian’s, but even with that, most if not all are prodigal right now. The better upbringing didn’t give them a yearning for heaven that in time it gave to me. Joe, I’m cut from the cloth that Ray Comfort is. I just wish I was able to go out and share the Lord more personally like I was starting to do. I often wonder if that’s why I’ve become more nonexistent functioning than functioning. Or maybe God wants to keep me humble. Whatever the case, not my will but His will be done. Lord Bless You Brother, Mark

Amen. I was just reading Luke 9:54-55. How clueless we can be to what manner of spirit we are of. Verse 55 explains what The Father's will is. None of us deserve His forgiveness,mercy or grace. Not a drop. So, the conclusion should be what is His will,mission? To save lives,and not destroy them. He revealed in the Old Testament when He said He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked but that all may come to life.

Really? Some of those clips are a few years old. I'm pretty sure he turned it around. There's a clip where he had an upconing fight with a black dude (who was spitting like an actual demon) and McGregor said he put his faith in Jesus and that's all the power he needed to win. He did and the other guy literally converted and praised Jesus right there after the fight. It was wild. So maybe McGregor wrestles with his pride (like many) and has backslidden periods. Not sure. But I have def heard him praising Jesus

As a Christian, a rational thinker, and a martial artist, I honestly believe God gave Conor the gifts of tactical counter punching via the southpaw stance. However, his predictions were not demonic, but his focused tactical approach and his previous training before he became a gluttonous millionaire. And with that being said, God have him his gifts, and he squandered them by not thanking the Lord for all that he was granted.

And the opponents that he faced on the way to the top, he had properly prepared and trained to counter their styles. His main problem was that God granted him this ability and he squandered it.

I'm wondering why the word "pride" is used there. Arrogance would make much more sense because pride is not something bad while arrogance is. Definition of pride: "a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements, the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired." Definition of arrogance: "the quality of being arrogant." Definition of arrogant: "having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities." Definition of vanity: "excessive pride in or admiration of one's own appearance or achievements."

I am a local Combat Sports (including MMA) Coach and here's my take on Conor McGregor. Aside from Conor's issues with faith and spirituality, well oftentimes fighters watch their opponent's fight videos to look for weaknesses they can exploit when they fight them. Like punches, kicks, or body movements that they would unknowingly telegraph. Conor has a knack for looking at such details that he might exploit against his opponent. So it is not really "prophetic" when he says something like that. And with his brashness, it is his job to sell himself and his fights to MMA fans added with his smack talking and showmanship to bring in the tickets, to bring in the money, to bring in the PPVs. But in time, it can go the head. Conor has come from a background of hardship. At some interview many years ago, someone asked him about God and faith. And Conor said, "where was God when I was going through the toughest times of my life?" That's why Conor is who he is. He proudly states that he is a self-made man. But as Christians, we know that success without God is not success at all. If God save Saul and turn him into Paul, there is nothing impossible with God. We can pray for him and all unbelievers to come to know Jesus Christ. We can pray that God will send someone to Him to preach the Gospel or somehow in this day of Social Media and the Internet, he will come to listen to the gospel being preached. Whichever way God uses.

Humility is not a form of weakness or lack of self importance, but it's to show a genuine respect for those around you and humility to God is to show great reverence and respect to believe all things is possible through Christ

I really love to hear you talk about Jesus, the love you have for Him is very apparent. I just want to say thank you for doing God’s work and inspiring the lost to reach for the heavens for their eternal life. This world is not our home, we will end up in one of two places when we leave this earth. It’s time, like never before, to turn your life over to Jesus and serve Him.
