The reason why khabib never had a cut was because his style of fighting was so wrestling oriented, with as i said previously, insane pressure, plus he has good movement and feints. You cannot compare him to gsp who developped a more complete ground game as he went on in his career, or to Covington who tries to box in every match he is in. I mean, yoel Romero came from wrestling yet he rarely used it. You have to take into account gameplans, not just the base of their discipline. Im not hating nor downplaying what he did, those guys from Dagestan are extremely good all round Sambo wrestlers, but you have to have the context of why they are so good. You cannot throw them in the same basket as a Covington, a gsp, that's all im saying

The cruelty of that statement has always stuck with me considering he had Conor in a neck crank and not a rear naked choke.
