This is the first radio I’ve ever owned that has everything I need and want. Using the wheel on an angle is super comfortable even after hours on the trail. The battery lasts so long that you can forget about charging it. Every setting you could ever need. It has up to 8 channels and almost every button is configurable. I use a flysky i6x for aircraft, and an nb4 for cars and boats. They’re the last two radios I’ll ever use. I don’t plan to upgrade for at least 20 years. Afhds3 is plenty fast and reliable, even for nitro racing. My Xmaxx, my super clods, my bruiser, my ramminator, and my scx6 all run through this radio.

Great video. Loved it that you showed the menus. I know the Pro is out now, but I think I'm going to pick up a used standard NB4. This is thinner, and I just like it!

The receiver with a built in antenna is ment for racing, due to its size and weight. For the cost of range, as the racers never get to far away from the car. The one with a wired antenna have greater range.

The gt5 is a great radio, I have been using the radiolink. Bought a bunch of recivers and then I get sent this haha, oh well, spares haha 😄

With the FGR4S I got 250m and with the FGR4 I got 350m range. Now I have the Frt10 in it. And I love that radio. I have 3 bashers and 1 speed runner programmed in it.

@@JvD1985 yes it’s a airplane receiver but works also with the NB4 😀 I have about 460m range now and use it for my speed runs.

Great video. I was looking at buying this radio and I think im going to pull the trigger. what is the difference between this and the nb4+ ?

The Noble is a nice tx for sure think i may get one myself, but pretty disappointing they didn't include a decent receiver with it to start with for good range , 120-140m range is what most cheap Chinese RTR car and truck transmitters get out the box, especially for the $315AU price tag

That radio is the best all the real racing people in R/C 1/10 scale all have and drift. It’s also to control all MINI Z Without putting a receiver in it just binds and go. It’s crazy it started off @ 90.$$$ US. Bucks now it’s a lot more and a platinum version that’s 480$$. I wish I bought it when it was $90.00 dollars. Great job 👏 review

So I recently got an XMAXX (used). But this truck barely wheelies. Should I change just the spur gear, just the pinion gear or both? I'm not looking for speed runs just for the xmaxx to wheelie like my big rock does!!! I'm also running the truck on 6s because I only own 3s batteries. Thank you kindly in advance for your time.

Hey dude. 6s is most likely the issue, but if you don't want to run 8s, I would try different gearing, I like 20 50 but I'm using that on 8s.

It's a good radio, especially for the model memory and the quality of the build and feel. Range isn't the best; dumbo has it beat there

Not to alarm but im a big fan of your content and the fact that it takes about 2 weeks for you to post new content hurts the algorithm on a user base because youtube simply recommends other content because of the intervals in the user going back to your channel. This last video wasn't even recommended by youtube and i only found it because I go and look for you but just so you know THE ALGORITHM IS HIDING YOUR CHANNEL FROM MAIN VIEW.... YOU KNOW HOW TO FIX IT. THANKS FOR YOUR CONTENT.

I wouldn't say it has a large dead zone but maybe something a pro could pick up on. I've seen many use this for racing and even at its price point, it's hard to beat. If you are a serious pro racer, maybe spending the extra money to get a sanwa or futaba is worth it 🤔

I thought razor rc was talking about the specific gyro receivers with gt5 transmitter had the deadzone.. Now that i think about it i kinda felt the deadzone on my gt5 with the blue gyro receivers. Went to the cheaper grey receivers and didnt have a deadzone issue with those. I have 20 receivers lol

Great feature set and premium feel, but wouldn’t recommend for racing due to latency
