    Awesome! just a heads up. Set a "in stock alert" for when Hobbyking.com has receivers in stock. They're the cheapest and in the US. I buy 5 at a time from them...

    Nice review! I've been using the NB4 for over a year then purchased the NB4 pro. I was one of those that thought the Pro is just a glorified version of the NB4 but it's not, it has a bunch of small changes that made me order one. Futabas are great and I've owned my share but you're correct, the RX are pricey but I'll admit, Futaba does have their budget minded RX nowadays. For crawlers or other "heavy equipment" RC, you can beat the small, cheap and awesome Flysky 8 channel and now 12 channel RX, nothing compares for the money. I'd highly recommend the NB4 Pro but I understand it's a tough sell for someone new that already thinks the $200 non Pro is expensive as is. Absolutely can't go wrong with the NB4 non Pro. Nothing touches it's ecosystem for the money. Can't wait to see what flysky comes out with 2yrs from now.

    Hard to find actual measured response time for these radios. Would be a great test. There are some that state "seems faster", but I like the ones and zeros :). Great video, I enjoyed it. My main concern with FlySky is, from my understanding, it is a Chinese company, so concerned about getting any support. It is a lot of money for something to break and then end up with a paperweight.

    Love this video. Thanks. How are you finding the Noble NB4 Pro for racing? I just got one for drifting and rookie club racing and worried that I should have got a Futaba for the ability to customise a GYD470 on the fly.

    Hi. Thank you for a great comparison. I’m torn between the Flysky and Futaba 4pm. You said you were sticking with Futaba for the track, is there any reason, other than having a lot of cars with Futaba receivers?

    I need a new transmitter for a 2WD 1/10th race buggy. Really wanted the Noble NB4 but some say the steering wheels break off very easily and I'm sure getting replacement parts is impossible. Supposedly there is some noticeable delay in steering response. Not sure what to think. Or how good of a driver you really have to be to notice these claimed delays.

    I just use one receiver with velcro tape for all models. You still have to plug the wires in for each model, but there's no way I'm buying a receiver for each model. That being said, I also like futaba, but don't have experience with the other brands.

    I wonder why majority of ifmar racers use sanwa. Do you know why?

  • @AdamLeeRC

    @AdamLeeRC

    Жыл бұрын

    Sanwa is a very nice radio. The M17 may probably be the best radio today... Not sure why it's the most used in high profile racing, maybe because Sanwa gives out the most sponsors. So if the fastest guy wins with their radio, more people will buy it... just my 2 cents.

    Thank you for your thoughts Adam, Much appreciated. However Why is it so uncommon that reviewers don't talk about range and penetration for those of us who race FPV? Its 2023 not 2003. Dudes are racing long distance through old bush tracks etc with GPS. These Specs are vital to know before even bothering to look at buying something that someone says is '' Just Good '' What's actually good about them bro? Cheers

  • @AdamLeeRC

    I would say, range and penetration isn't something ground transmitters review. Most ground transmitters are all line of site. Unlike FPV where you can barely see it, or there's large obstructions.
