The funniest part is that the clip with the song has been on REDDIT for the past 2 YEARS too. On the EKT subreddit, someone who archived clips from older adult films found the search just a few days after EKT was found, they had literally posted the clip two years prior on their own subreddit. It's because of expectations, really. I personally felt kind of disappointed that the song is now tainted with that background, because now _everyone_ is going to associate it with that instead of it being just a good song. There's a good chance won't take it seriously ever again. I agree with you, the association frankly ruined it in-itself.
