No, it didn’t end. I read on TV Tropes that the creator actually got the greenlight to make season four and that "The Sign" was just a test for more longer episodes, and possibly a full length movie. So looks like we don’t have to say goodbye to Bluey (at least not at this moment) after all. 😊

Can we agree that Bluey is the perfect topic to end off the original theme?

Thankfully, Bluey is still continuing after "The Sign". And personally, I'm glad a show like Bluey exists. Even though it's obviously for a preschool audience, it also perfectly resonates with older audiences as well in a very wholesome way (and has a lot of hilarious shit). Ya don't get too many shows like this anymore.

Your chances of getting hit by an alien spaceship are unfathomable, extremely unlikely but never zero. Bluey could be axed while the production of the fourth season is ongoing (some shows do that, but I'm not sure if Australian shows do this) but it's VERY unlikely given the circumstances.

@@siyahseeker there are an infinite amount of games they can play. Not to mention the countless plot lines(Bandit’s Dad, Chili’s sister having a baby, Rad and Frisky’s relationship,etc.)

Something I love about Bluey is how they show what Bluey is like years later. It gives you a sense that Bluey won’t stay young forever and will grow up like the rest of us. Honestly, good story opportunities right there. ‘The Sign’ has to be my favorite episodes from this show, and I really hope they make a movie too.

They are taking a break to rest and then will make season 4 or potentially a full length movie since The Sign went so well. They've been talking about season 4 for a long time now and how they might change the format to be longer episodes.

How funny of this to pop up while I was watching Bluey. Had me Surprised there, but heard that a Season 4 of Bluey is being Developed.

Was honestly hoping that they would move. Having gone through that hardship in my life, it would’ve been cool to actually show the representation of bluey and bingo going through that, losing their friends, ect. But was a beautiful episode either way.

Let me make a guess on what a Bluey movie would be like: Bluey and Bingo go through their teen years and some of adulthood, experiencing real world problems and things like getting married. Bandit and Chilli experience being seniors, with their grandchildren. We would also get to see the dads of the two and seeing more of their kids. That is my guess on what a Bluey movie would be like. Afterword, Season 4 would start, and the kids would get to experience adventures like Bluey and Bingo did in their childhood.

Well, from what I heard it’s thankfully *not* ending, but it’s probably be going on lots of hiatuses.

If they were to end the show it would be either with a movie or with bluey or bingo getting married or showing them with their kids

When season 4 of bluey comes out, I would love to see bluey age up to 8, and bingo age up to 6. That’s what I love the most about the series; seeing them slowly age up physically, and mentally.

In short terms, Joe Brumm stated that the show is not gonna end, and the production crew will take a break before they work on Season 4.

The only issue I see with that is that some parents don’t tell their kids they have autism. When I was in third grade, my fields dad came up to me to tell me (and that my friend didn’t know), and while in concept it’s a great idea, not sure how well it would go.

My guess is, they might still runs like usual. But once a while they sneak in the future I mean, remember Jean Luc’s story where they being shown as a teen. And another episode where we met Bingo as she grew up with her bestie

The Sign and Surprise definitely gave me the same feeling that a series finale would give me, but I’m so glad the show isn’t actually ending. I wanna see Brandy’s child and see more of Rad and Frisky as a married couple. I also wanna see more of Bluey’s future, I’m really curious about that child at the end!

In Camping they also had a time skip near the end showing the future, but went back to normal after, so I guess it'll probably be the same this time lol

Do you think season 4 will continue the series but with adult Bluey and it will be centered around her kid, I'm not gonna lie... that would be awesome! the same way the series has been centering around her with her parents 🥰

Imagine if every season, the kid characters would become adults for the following season, and season 5 is like 5 generations into the Bluey family tree

Honestly, I want Season 4 to further expand on the world and focus more on the secondary and minor, well-loved characters. My prediction. I wanna see some episodes about the other Heeler families. I wanna see more of Pat and his family (especially Lucky since he's a severely underdeveloped character who really needs more screentime for once). I want a follow-up on Chilli's family. Maybe shed some more light on Judo and Wendy. I wanna see what the other kids' lives are like: Coco with her eight older siblings, Pretzel with his two mums, heck, I even wanna see how Snickers is doing since he was absent in The Sign. Seriously, where is my boi?! Is he ok? I hope so. But in all seriousness, I hope the team develops Season 4 well after their long break. Because I don't expect Bluey to last forever like all other good kid shows that have ended too soon, but I can see it having up to 5-6 seasons. I'm so excited for the movie too, although we've yet to see the plot and its release date. I'm just hoping that the show will keep going strong in the long run. Stay strong, Joe Brumm and Ludo Studios. Don't let seasonal rot taint your show's legacy.

To be fair, Bluey already has lots of minor and background characters with potential stories to be told. It could happen. Possibly. We'll just have to wait and see. This is the kinda show that I could imagine going on for *years!* The characters and audience grow together with plenty of lessons to boot

The series won't last forever though. I promise you, Bluey will eventually end at some point in time. Things just don't last forever and all things must come to an end and move on. I feel like "The Sign" had that Titanic level of emotional moments. So let's all enjoy Bluey while it lasts and while we still can.

We deserve more Bluey than before! There’s going to be a season 4 and I hope a season 5 too.

Long story short: NO. A new season is in production, but if Bluey does end, it has already made an awesome mark, I prefer Bluey over Paw Patrol, which has overstayed its welcome, and has exhausted every idea, for Bluey's sake, I hope it does not follow the Paw Patrol route, sometimes, we have to say goodbye, and that was the point behind the latest episodes, food for thought.

It’s good that Bluey isn’t over yet!

Honestly, can't blame them. The Sign felt like the culmination of Bluey's story thanks to it's impressive duration and exciting plot along with how everything was advertised. And Surprise feels like an extra bit to step down with grace and greeting, as a nice Last Surprise (ha). But Ludo Studio already said they'll be continuing with Bluey. Who knows for how long, but after these episodes, we can safely say it's perfect for the wait.

BRUH yeah right i highly doubt Bluey will return production or ever come back. The Sign/Surprise is truly the grand finale end of the show. Whenever the crew and executives say that a musical group or a TV show says that their work is going on a break in an indefinite hiatus, they are lying to their audience. When a recording artist or the cast of a TV show says their work is put on indefinite hiatus, it means the band spllts up or a TV series automatically gets cancelled and we never get a new episode or album from them ever again. Example cade in p;ont: One Direction were supposed to reform in July 2017 but have never returned to work as a band ever since

What is she’s doing that thing where you put it around your neck and that’s just what it looks like? Is she listening to music in the scene?

I remember hearing scuttlebutt a few years ago about Ludo potentially cancelling the show rather than recasting the rolls, as all the children are played by, well, children, who are quite obviously outgrowing their rolls--this was debunked by Ludo, though I don't remember if they denied recasting as well or just that the show wasn't cancelled. Since all of the child actors are anonymous, it's hard to tell if recasting hasn't already occurred for some or all of the roles (some think Bluey herself sounds different in Season 3, but whether that's due to the actress growing up or being recast, we won't know unless Ludo announces it), but if they haven't been, it would make sense to age up the characters for season 4 with a time skip of some kind; in the three seasons, Bluey (the character) has aged up from six to seven, so time is passing and characters are aging, just not in real time, and a slight jump for Bluey and her friends to preteen at the start of Season 4 would have some benefits beyond simply matching the voice with the character, as they could explore stories pertinent to that age bracket, which has frankly been underserved by the show (there's only, what, one episode that focuses on preteens, and a good chunk of the kids who started watching the show in 2018 are now or will soon be preteens). Bingo could slide into the early elementary role of her sister, Muffin could move up to pre-K, Socks could age up to Muffins older toddler bracket, and Brandy's as yet unborn baby could fill the role of Socks as a young toddler, and if Frisky and Rad have a child, the show could explore the parents of infants (another demographic that's been briefly, sporadically covered over the years). Eventually, they could age up Bluey to a teen and have a truly all-ages series. My only worry is that Disney might try to pressure Ludo into keeping the show appropriate for the Disney Jr. label even if Bluey is aged up--or just flat out refuse to host it on Disney+ anymore unless they make changes. Just look what they've done with the likes of the Owl House, a pre-teen/teen centric show that tackled sexuality issues. That said, with Ludo's upcoming show, Willy, tackling coming-of-age/teen issues, they might not feel the need to age up the Bluey characters outside of their typical flash-forwards.

Ludo is just taking a break after releasing Ghostbasket, The Sign and Surprise. The Sign was the biggest project... After their hardworking project they will have some rest from animating, Although they will planning on a Season 4 script... The most biggest future project *CAN* be Bluey The Movie... So we can all appreciate all the hard work of Ludo and their teams and music producers... "No it is not the end for 'Bluey,'"

I just hope it doesn’t turn out like SpongeBob, where they reuse ideas or flanderize the characters.

I doubt that this is a season finale. Ludo studios probably just are going to take a long break the Bluey brand it’s self is a 2 billion dollar name. Believe it or not it takes about 3 weeks to make one episode of Bluey. Bluey will be coming back it just takes time. I don’t think this is the end of our lovable cartoon dogs!
