why do people compare this to Denis? That was on devon's weaker left, against denis's preferred hand. Plus devon had not long had surgery. This on his stronger right, and he's on a lot more 'pancakes' than he was previously. He's huge now. The 'shock' is part of the narrative, I believe he'll easily win and it won't be as much a david vs goliath as they are selling it as

I’m really hopeful Devon can give Levan a hell of a match, and then reality sets in. 😂 Levan’s been relentless on his gear intake (i.e. no breaks) for years now, that’s just how far ahead he is in preparation for this. I suspect he’ll continue to do so until his kidneys and heart explode. Besides, he sees Vitaly and Alex coming for him and he knows he won’t be the pinnacle anymore in a few years time.

I think Levan is way smarter. I think Dennis was on gear since his early teens. Dude looks twice his age. Levan looks his age and he has naturally been big boned. Compared to other athletes at least.

i trust Levan seing this video will prioritize in training for speed at the go leading up to the fight . Hope Devon in all his experience bluffs or has a backup plan that actually will stop this . It's gonna be definetly the most interesting matchup for armwrestling so far

Levan is the clear favorite, it is plain to see that Devon respects Levan, but anything can happen. We've seen it before, just ask John Brzenk.

Devon is an outstanding arm-wrestler & a genuine ambassador of the sport, is even technically beyond Levan, just can't see him beat Levan at all however. I'm convinced that Vitaly Laletin or Alex Kurdecha are a better match for Devon Larratt. As for Levan, he's currently & without doubt on another level from everyone else.

true, actually, if he took the 300 lbs down to even horizontal, that would be insane. He let it drop like 1 inch then brought it back up and struggled at the end even doing that. So, he SUPPORTED the weight and let it drop 1 inch and with 300 lbs, that's still strength and balance. Part of that was hand strength to just BALANCE that much so it is definitely adding to his entire arm, not just bicep. But technically, he isn't "curling 300 lbs".

@@0ldPlayer okay, let's be real then; Cypenklov holds WR for strict curl. He has the stronger bicep. Levan handled 294.3 lbs. (Which if you watch the scale it never really stops on a number I don't think the spotter ever took his hand off the weight while the scale was trying to do its thing) and, when he initially starts to let the weight descend he leans in a bit with his shoulder and once his bicep started contracting he leans back a lot and pulls the weight back to resting position before spotters reach in. Yes, he let the weight descend more than 1 inch, however it was still in "resting position" for many of those few inches and his body was never static he was moving all over the place to manipulate the weight

That was a hold, not a curl. I'm sure Devon can hold that too. The plan is to bleed Levan. You saw how he dropped the weight suddenly? That was a bleed. Devonshire an Anaconda now, no longer a python.

I disagree. Buster was an unknown who didn’t win anything. Devon is one of the best arm wrestlers of all time. Devon winning will be an upset, but if Devon somehow won it wouldn’t shock me.

This phrase excludes Larrat himself in the capacity of a victor.

Devon is definitely a higher level now than that match with Denis one should expect a good fight.

People are discounting Devon because they see Levan's strength as just too much. I am not sure if you have seen what a motivated individual like Devon can do. He is a champion. He understands the monumental task at hand. He is taking this seriously. I fully expect to see a Devon that looks like he ate the Devon from Todd's match.

levan is 415.00 lbs and devon is 285 lbs why is no one talking about this? that is a huge difference and no way devon will have a chance.

Istill remember Devon struggling with his head turning red with all of his efforts and Denis' arm didn't even more and Denis didn't even flinch. Levan is as strong as Cyplenkov was. Even if Devon is stronger and more motivated, I cannot see anything other than another bitchslap from reality. Don't get me wrong, I admire the hell out of Devon for seeking new challanges and immovable objects. He is a legend.

He's bigger. I don't know if he will be big enough but he will be over 300 pounds. I don't know if he will beat Lavon but he will be in shape to beat anyone else in the world.

Im a fan of devon but i dont think that he can pull it up cause he is going to see another raw power after denis cyplenkov. And in that match he was destroyed by denis. So in this match its hard to say that who will win because devon has only one move "kings move" Which seems dosent work or not know that it will work against a guy like levan dude is almost 180 kg and raw power and his endurance is crazy asf. Devon match with dave chaffe. Devon used kings move but here we have a big dude with double size of chaffe so cant tell what will happen gotta wait and see.

Devon is the second greatest technical heavyweight arm wrestler of all time, he has the greatest stamina of any man his size and above and his psychological games are unmatched. Im just not sure he has the horse power because even 57 year old John giving away 50lbs overpowered him for the first few seconds of round one.

If he beat the hulk he will be the goat.

I've watched a lot of Levan and this is what I've seen. He is very strong when he's fresh and he has an incredible hit.....BUT.....his endurance is not great. If you can stop his hit and bleed him out he is suddenly very beatable. His endurance really is quite bad but the question is, can you drag it to that place. Can you stop the hit? Can you make it real physical? Funny thing is.....there's nobody out there better at that than Devon Larratt. This match will be really interesting for that reason. For me, it's about Devon stopping that initial hit. If he can do that then Levan will be in trouble imo.

What makes you say his endurance is bad? Based on what match? If you look at his professional career, Levan has swept all his opponents 6-0 and he looked more dominant in the later rounds as he gained confidence. People were talking about how Vitali would bleed Levan because he's so fat and pluffy but it was Vitali who was absolutely gassed out in the end. So I don't get where these rumours about Levan having a bad endurance are coming from.
