This was an emotional rollercoaster ride of a story. The poor choices of the birth mother reminds me of what happens to many people after they win the lottery. Extending kindness to stranger does not always workout in our favor but the actions we take in response will determine how God will swill move next. Our character in life can very much be part of what we pass on to our children as part of our legacy. Very powerful and beautifully told; thank you.

I don’t know anything about Africa’s culture, but I ask because African Americans treat today’s White people as though they were the ones who enslaved them 405 years ago, so I thought to ask if it is an African culture to treat children guilty for the crimes of their parents. That said, in America, our culture doesn’t hold children guilty for the crimes of their parents. We don’t blame children for the actions of their parents-that’s our culture, so I thought to ask in order to judge correctly African Americans and how they treat White people today.
