Thank you for a nice story. I got two lessons from the story. 1. It reminded me of the fourth comandment, Respect your parents... The problem is when it come to marriage it is very hard to understand the views of the parents. I don't say that they are always right, but still they are experienced and loves their children unconditionally to the extent that they don't want to see them get hurt. In most cases we tend to ignore parents advice when it come to marriage but mostly end up in dissapointments. And you find yourself with nowhere to return, ending up in a miserable marriage. 2. Jeremiah 17:9. The heart is deceiful above all things, who can understand it?! The heart can even make you believe that you love someone while you are just longing for him/her. That what has happen to Amobi throughout the story. He believed he loved Ifeoma, but not, then Chinaza but didn't. They were just desires. If a heart can deceit your mimd and make you believe that you are truly in love, what about others?! Thats why we need God to understand our hearts because as the bible says WHO CAN UNDERSTAND IT?! ONLY GOD CAN
