I'm a glider...and my Grammy is too...and my dad every.single.time.he has to wrap something i see him hesitate to try it then he just cuts....meanwhile I'm over hear having three freakin presents ahead of him cause I'm a glider😂😂😂😂

When it comes to cutting wrapping paper I either glide or butcher it beyond recognition... There is no in between.

I just realized we have a lot of scissors!!! And that each has their own jurisdiction. LOL ✂️

"You don't know who you are, what you are doing and what day it is." That was most of the year for me, let alone the gap between Christmas and new year.

Oh god, my mother broke her arm this week. All she’s going on about is “can’t believe this has happened, how am I gonna organise Christmas, I’ve got so much to do”. I offer to help - she looks at me like I’m mad with distain, along the lines of “you can’t wrap properly or cook all the food like I do” 😳

And don't come at me with some silly claims of how suffering is a trial we have to overcome or whatever bs that tries to justify it, because tell that to innocent babies starving to death or animals getting slaughtered and dying out. They have no way to deal with any of the shit the world throws at them, so what, they are just tools in HIS big plan to test the rest of humanity? Just torture and kill a few million innocents each year to test the others? Heck, that's even worse than not giving a damn.

If you want another British comedian, Tim Vine is another hilarious man, although his style of act is very different, it's completely clean, so you can watch it with anyone

One year when we pulled crackers, my cousin didn't get a prize. We were passing around the food and there was a tomato in the middle of the potato salad. It was odd to have a tomato in a potato salad at all and usually potato salad is the only salad at a Christmas table that I can eat because I'm allergic to tomato. Anyway, someone took the tomato for their plate and went to cut it. It was a little plastic yoyo that had flown out of Cam's cracker and landed square in the middle of the potato salad.

When I bought my house, I rewired the living room so the wall socket by the picture window was switched so my tree could stay plugged in, and I could turn off the tree.

Lol I thought I was the only person who thought like that on Christmas Day 😂😂😂

Imagine how hard it is being a comedian, having to find something funny enough and relatable enough to make a room full of disparate strangers laugh together - and you have to do that over and over again. And there's Michael McIntyre talking about how you can never find the scissors so you buy new scissors but you can't get to your new scissors without scissors. He's so brilliant he makes it look effortless. It must be infuriating.

When me and my family were watching this on TV as so as he started talking about 'gliders' my family gave me a that's you look.

I remember as a little kid my Mum showing me how to curl ribbon and saying “Well done, you can curl all the ribbons (for the amount of presents we had). About an hour later I came downstairs and proudly handed her three reels worth of ribbon in one giant curly heap. I had indeed curled ALL of the ribbons.

@@benjaminbennett990 I Figured it out a couple of years ago, you start cutting until you find a particularly sharp section of the blades that cuts really cleanly. You stop there and use that bit of the scissors to glide. The scissors blades need to be as sharp as possible to glide beautifully.

I absolutely adore Michael McIntyre! In his video, he talks about how Christians eat a lot on holidays, while other religions starve themselves. He asked where it is in the Bible that it said people should eat until they couldn't eat anymore. Not knowing whether it's a joke and he really wants an answer or not, I'm going to give him one. There are many feasts mentioned in the Bible. Whenever they had a reason to celebrate, they had a feast.

I can't remember laughing so much for a long time. The tears running down face, trouble catching my breath and falling off the seat. Especially 'Granny being being propelled along by her farts" Hahaha hihihihi lololol😁😂 lol.😆

The glider trick, cut slightly then glide up, if it feels a little bit stuck then close the scissors a bit and the ribbon trick is just a secret 😌✨

Oh Michael, I never get bored of watching you 😂 I am one of the unfortunate people born after Christmas (not the unfortunate ones born before, or on the 25th admittedly, but I always send them a birthday message).. but Michael explains it perfectly.. those 6 days where everyone is wondering what day it is ?! Don't I know it 😏🤣 Tell you what day it is, my birthday ! The same day many people start work again, and the bins get collected usually LOL.. I don't do anything for my birthday with anyone, just spend it alone , which suits me ! On a side note, I got a set of 3 tiny screwdrivers from a cracker back in 1994, and when I discovered they were the right size for my flute screws, I kept them, and still have 2 of them to this day ! Wish I still had those mini playing cards though 🤔😄

I adore brussel sprouts! 🤪 It must be similar to the Marmite love or hate situation ! I must admit I didn't like them as a kid..but our taste buds change as we acquire the taste for many foods we didn't like when growing up . But many times the newly adults won't bother attempting to see if they now like something. ..Instead they go by the memory of the foods tasting horrible when young and stay adamant that they remain awful .. 😁

I can rewatch his acts and still laugh my ass off! Love him!

Brussels sprouts... sluce in half, toast in cast iron pan with tiny bit of oil plus a bit of salt and chilli flakes, add butter - suddenly everyone is gagging for them and coming back for more.
