Port supporter here. For the amount of praise he gets and the height of the pillar the AFL has put him on, it's incredible how modest he is. You might hate him on the field but you cant hate the fella off the field

First nice port supporter I’ve met. If only they were all as humble as you
I know u don’t like talking about urself Dusty, (I’m a Carlton supporter), but u r an absolute champion of the game. Those goals u kick, omg ur a freak of nature (I mean that in the most amazing way), ur brilliant to watch.... I definitely picked u for the Norm Smith and U guys for the Win... Back to Back Richmond are a team I love to watch......
Well, I gotta say people like Dusty don't come around very often. I love thd way he goes abouf things. Goes after the ball, never worries about opposition players. Very humble. Text book footballer.
Richmond players and coaches have such respect and love for each other . They are a big family . And it shows .
Humble champ. Proud of him.
I am a Hawks supporter this guy is fantastic to watch , clean skillful and fair. Hope we see him for many years to come

Martins parents separated when he was 14 and Martin moved to Sydney with his father, leaving school at Castlemaine High School after Year 9 and taking up full-time work. He worked various roles at his father's transport business including as a forklift driver while also assisting his father's girlfriend's sports apparel business. In total he worked regular twelve hour days, later saying he hated “working long days” in what was “not a very good job.”
Brilliant, love dusty, love the Mighty Yellow n Black and will be roaring you all on at feckin 9:30am on a saturday morning here in Edinburgh. Three in Four years....., let's do it. 'MON THE TIGES!

Second chance … about 20 chances
It's a shame that you don't really get a second chance unless you have a behemoth like the AFL paying for your legal team. Shut up and kick the ball.
