I watched Joan play this for an encore on 5/28/16 in Vegas on Fremont. Just a scorching performance! She had 40000 people going nuts. Sounded great. What a strong voice!

I loved that Joan Jett did this song, it defiantly shows there is a beautiful heart under all that leather. She is the Queen of Rock and roll.

Joan Jett is hot Rock Chick personified. She owns the stage, I loved her for this song, it speaks of acceptance tolerance and shooby doobie doobie. I know Sly and the family wrote it.

Not sure she needs to. I like her take that creating a good simple song is one of the hardest things to do.

If anything, Joan's version is better than the original by Sly Stone. Maybe it's because she's not addicted to drugs and living homeless in a car like Sly is.
