Every Way to Cook a Potato (63 Methods) | Bon Appétit

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Join editor at large Amiel Stanek as he attempts to cook a potato in almost every way possible. Which method is the best? Is it juiced potatoes? No, it's definitely not juiced potatoes. But maybe it's worth trying because life is for living and it's good for you. Or maybe not, because it is absolutely disgusting.

@@jzmc7562 if he were trying to do that, he wouldn't add seasoning to any of the dishes, but he often puts salt to finish some of them, and those are usually the ones he likes more. its obvious this is just a content farm and they can't just say all of them are good, but its definitely annoying seeing him ruin a dish, not salt it, then blame the dish for not tasting good

Also, the reason the brined electrocuted potato cooked less than the raw one is that brine is a good conductor of electricity, whereas to generate heat you need to run current through a bad conductor (eg carbon) so that most of the electric energy is converted into heat.

Dude. Roasted potatoes wrapped in aluminum foil in charcoal. They are called, "mickies". It was born in Brooklyn NY. We used to get a fire going at the, "Lot". Any place you could light a fire without breaking any laws. We had one at the end of the block. Scrub potatoes, add salt and pepper and butter. Triple wrapped in foil and thrown into the hot coals. We also wrapped corn on the cob, the same way. There was always a nice steak, burgers and hot dogs. Great memories!!!
