These budget holiday dolls were so fun to find in grocery stores. I miss these. They were so simple yet the quality and outfits were so nice! As the years go on you can see them drop off in quality sadly. Late 90s and early 2000s are the best ones. ❤❤

The 2004 one is one of my faves! I used to have her as a kid, wish I still did. & I love that she's like the only one wearing jeans.

I had one from 1997 called Sweetheart Barbie. She came in one of three fuzzy dresses in hot pink, a neon yellow, or orange. I had the orange one.

you forgot the most important one from 1994 - Surprise Barbie & Surprise Ken, with Barbie's torso opening up for keeping the heart shaped box of chocolates she received from Ken. Kinda creepy but my fav as a kid 😍💖👍🏻💘

I am totally with you on missing the Valentine's Day barbies. I would buy one for my daughter every Valentine's Day until they stopped making them. She is now an adult but I am still sad. I would still get them. I miss all the holiday themed barbies. They were so fun. I wish they would just bring out Valentine's Day fashion packs . I could go for fashion packs in all holiday themes.

I see Valentine's Day as a day to celebrate the people we love in our lives, including pets. Also, I like to wear cute valentine outfits 💞 throughout the month. I feel the same way about St. Patrick's Day 🍀and Easter 🐣. I just love dressing up and decorating according to the monthly holiday theme.

The Loving You doll from 83 was the doll that all of my cousins and I HAD to have. ❤❤❤

I think Mattel is cutting way too many corners with dolls. They used to have a barbie doll for every special day or celebration, like Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Easter and yearly graduation dolls

Sadly Mattel and other companies are always cutting corners in their design. They want to make cheap dolls and outfits but sell for high prices for a better quality for their own pockets. I've never played with the newer style Barbies but yes I can at the store or in Joey's videos the quality has gone down a lot!

OH MY GOD THE 2004 HEARTS AND KISSES ONE I LOOOOVED AS A KID!! I would always take her shirt off to put on whatever doll was my favorite at the time 😂 I remember thinking that shirt was I T. FASHION.

My favorite was def your favorite, she's gorgeous. They nailed that face screen. I really like historical dresses on Barbie so I wish the Hallmark ones were a bit more with the concept but I think I still want to own them for myself! I love me a good period/historic dress doll.

Valentines day is all about people i love, not only partner but about friends, familly and about loving myself :) You mentioned secret hearts Barbie but not about sweetheart Barbie. I love the heart jewelery they both have. Sweetheart Barbie was my dream when i was a child. I own her now and im obsessed with her necklace and soft dress.

The only thing I like about Valentine’s Day is that my husband always buys me a heart-shaped balloon; it’s the only thing I really want. And it usually lasts until June or July. Last year it lasted til October. It was half deflated, but I didn’t mind, lol. 😄💖🎈

Every beach Barbie doll

I loved that you did this series. I had the 2005 and 2006 dolls, and they all swapped dresses with some of my other dolls, like Tiny Kitty Collier and a couple of others, but those were my favorites. I wish they would still make the series. Pretty sure I have the one that wore the blue jeans, and I actually really loved her lol I could be wrong. I do remember them making specific dolls for different companies like Target, Meijer, and Walgreens, that kind of thing, but they're harder to track down.

The 2003 and signature one are my favorite. 2003 is perfect for my birthyear

I really like the designs of the valentine barbies from 1999-2003! Very Valentines Barbie 2000 and Valentine Romance Barbie are my favorites for really capturing a cute romantic feel to me. Lowkey, I might look into buying very valentine barbie 2000 on eBay cause the jacket with the long dress is so *chefs kiss*❤

Okay, but here me out. They really need to bring back that classic Teresa face mold. The one from the Splash N Colour doll, the one that looks like Phoebe Cates in Gremlins. I always loved the Teresa dolls but my mum didn't because my dad's ex wife (before my mum and was only pressured into it for a year or so because her daughter from another man called my dad "dad") name was Teresa. Haha. Way TMI, I know. 😂🤣😂🤣

I love the belt in 11:06! I might do a DIY version of it bc I really want to have it! I love the rest of the doll too, but maybe not the tinsel. I have a Barbie (unfortunately her head fell off and I actually never put it back on, also her neck plastic is weirdly broken) with a tinsel hair strand and I find it kinda annoying and it was a disaster when there was a knot. And I absolutely LOVE the 2009 one in 18:12! I love this style. 💕 I want to make a dress like this for my dolls. 🥰 I think she‘s my fav valentine barbie. I would love to own her. Sadly I can only find her online from the US and I would have to pay an enormous price for shipping. :(

These are cute, I'll definitely be looking for some of them. It's sad to see how much the quality has dropped. I got Barbie Extra 20 today, and her hair is absolutely terrible. It was awful when I took her out the box, and then it just became a fizzy mess when I brushed it. They also have no idea how to make the outfits flattering for a larger body. The cardigan is the best thing about her, sadly.

Valentine fun isn't my fave either, but I think it is worth noting that it's the first valentine's Barbie who is fully casual dress. A little more detail, some fun legwear (boots, socks, tights) and maybe a jacket would make this work for me.

in 2016-2017 (i think i was like 9-10?) my grandma got me a bag of valentines day stuff cause no one else got me any thing... and it had the XO valentine Barbie from 2001... i wish i still had it but i got rid of all my dolls when i was 12 : ( (61 MH dolls, 3 EA dolls, and probably 20+ Barbie dolls.... not to mention all of the playsets and cars i had (and i had one of the dream houses, i think from like 2010-2012 but it had a random burn hole through the second floor... but i still loved it)

The 03 valentine romance is my favorite as well , she’s absolutely gorgeous! I also have the 99’ with love …Barbie , I definitely recommend she’s really nice quality and she has a sheer nylons on! I also have the valentine sweetheart one with that “romance novel” dress and I recommend her as well! My mom would get me one each Valentine’s Day …i personally got the 3 as an adult and love them 💘

Well, if there's a beautiful Valentine's Day doll that comes out for Valentine's Day and life is good! The nah nah nah series that came out last year was fabulous... I wish Barbie still did these

What I don't like is the boxes that don't show the whole doll. Why would I buy what I can't see? Dolls sell so much better when they are displayed fully, it makes you want to hold them out of box to see the details better.

The third Hallmark doll (the right) is super pretty in real life! I saw her at a local antique store and nearly bought her! She was 20 bucks so I’m sort of regretting not getting her despite not really collecting dolls. She’s based off of a rococo painting, which is shown on the box. Also, have you seen the new Tinker Bell limited edition doll at the Disney Store? I thought she looked nice and would like to hear your opinion on her. There’s also a Disney collection with black dolls inspired by Disney princesses by Creative Soul. I have a feeling you might find them interesting. They look like nice quality and are not overly embellished and are priced around 50 US dollars. I hope to see the dolls I mentioned in a future video. I have a good feeling you’ll have lots to say. I enjoy your videos so much and can’t wait for more!

Lord help me if I don't love the "I love you valentines" Barbie. Like, she has so many aspects I hate. Hate orange, hate bubble skirts, hate overly saturated patterns. But somehow, together as a whole, it really works for me. Like she's only one pink leopard pink pair or tights away from being crowned the queen of tack and I love her for it. She's awful, and I love her.

2009's Barbie with an empire waist dress is strange to me. I'm constantly altering Barbie dresses to be real outfits on my body in my head, mostly by giving them these high waists, because that's the slimmest point near the waist on my body. But I think here they should have paid more attention to making the look work because, given that Barbie has such idealized hourglass proportions, it makes little since to hide that under a high waist, unless it's really a cohesive design where the dress feels like it needs that look. What's odd is that the barbie directly previous, with her neckline gathers and bottom tulle poof-out would be SO much more intuitive to put an empire waist on! It would draw more attention to the nice collar detail and we could probably getaway with even more of a the poof at the bottom for more of a short-dress-mermaid with less shape drama to focus on between neck and waist.
