Nah, the player on a horse could easily kill 10 peasants with a basic weapon with decent reach and no armor. Just gotta do nice safe strafing runs.

I like how the melee cav continues on after charging to line up for another charge. Unlike the cav in warband which just charges once then stops dead to fight the rest of the targets.

@@RyanSantos-cn5ij You would have to outnumber the swordsman 10 to 1 and a knight in full armor probably 20 to 1. A few hundred riot cops can hold back an angry mob of thousands and the riot cops aren't even trying to kill the mob. Now add sharp swords/spears and heavy metal armor. 1 - The peasants aren't trained and are not armored - they probably have trash weapons and would have no idea how to get around the armor, they also aren't trained to work together. 2 - Their bodies might be conditioned for manual labouring which is fine but they are not conditioned for fighting 3 - A fully armored soldier is quicker than you think - he has spent years training in that armor and the armor is even lighter than the full kit that today's soldiers wear. 4 - logistics of the fight - The peasants need to put the soldier onto the ground or they need to get past the weak spots in his armor which they don't have the proper weapons for. The soldier has the *entire* body of the peasant to hit - and the soldier will probably be more likely to hit than the peasant due to his training - also psychologically who wants to be the first one to strike out of the peasants, also who is going to keep fighting after they see their two friends chopped down within seconds.

If these peasants had existed in the middle ages we would never have had feudalism.

I tend to think that a cloth yard sticking in you might have a bit of an effect in your ability to live. peasants must be made of sterner stuff if they can still fight with two arrows in them.

I like, that they already programmed censor clouds for eventual future nude mods. They thought of everything! No wonder it took them so long!

The way those peasants eagerly hack all those well trained and armed soldiers to pieces and chant so fierce after the kill just makes me laugh out loud. This feels like a great comedy sketch!

Feel like it overestimates a peasants ability to get his head cut off or his intestines spilled and keep fighting and while I've never had an arrow go through my chest I can pretty well assume that this too would put me out of the fight

Bannerlord teaches us that great heroes that can single handedly take down armies, or even like 3 guys, dont exist

What if there is a stamina system? It limits people running full speed endlessly, horse charging will be reduced a bit. The stamina meter will be reduced when running, jumping, hitting, shooting with bow. Stamina will be reduced with every action taken but will be replenished over time. It would take like 15 action for it to empty, and the stamina for peasants and knights will be different of course. Empty stamina will require much longer time to be replenished again because of exhaustion.

They need to readjust the ability to perfectly time an attack against approching cavalry based on the tier of the unit. It makes sense for a legionary to know when exactly to strike and interrupt the cavalry with the attack. But a peasant shouldnt be able to do it.

@@Ilyas-ty6cy they are pretty much the same right now in the current version sorry to say :/ can still get instakilled if you run at them and they hit your head or leg with their scythe, will deal 40 net dmg (total dmg - absorbed dmg) straight through the absolute strongest leg or head armor

The archery animations are top notch, most notably on that fiannan

Seems like the AI could need some reworking. Units with bows move towards them and units with longer weapons move up real close before they want to do an attack and aristocratic professional warriors use their shields to block the gaze of peasants before they lower it exactly as the peasants swing their sickles. Only the cavalry units seem to know a bit of how to use their strengths versus the imps, but they are taking far too much distance to use ranged weapons effectively. Better wait another year to release :p

Better pathfinding code. They are surrounding and all attacking so those 3ish seconds are still 10+ attacks so a 1v1 the elite troop probably would even take damage.

@@samalama5000 10 peasants must be able to beat one unit. In real life, put 10 men against a mma world champion, and you will see what will happen. Quantity > Quality

I am now convinced that peasants are just players in disguise helping the new player, once I get the game I might just have a full peasant army and il have nothing equipped except some pants and a pitchfork, "It is harvesting season!"

Man you should do one that is like a tournament between all the melee units in the game 1v1 or 3v3 spars same with the Cavalry and archers that would be really cool to see.

Farmers be like "This is for my pOtAtOeS!!"

Prefer the old yelling and screaming

Julio Martinez but I like the new game and the new gameplay I just prefer the old yelling. It sounded more cooler.
