Depends on the Sherman some of them don't get the good mount. Preventing you from elevating the 50 on the roof very high.

I've shot down so many aircraft with the guns on this. The angles can go pretty high on the .50.

Its funny, sometimes the t34 feels difficult to play with its lack of depression, bad vertical targeting, no smoke, and mediocre penetration, and then other times it just feels like you're playing on easy mode where you one shot everything you look at.

i think its more that you end up facing garbage Germany/US players and the T-34 is just perfect for catching them off guard.

I should name my experience: Every time I spawn I get spawncamped by 10 planes, tanks, and helicopters

the thing that is better about the 5.7 t 34 85 is that it has 5 crew not 4 like the 5.0 one. Also pls do Churchill squad with friends when the new Churchill is out then we will have 3!!

I loved the part at 15:50. The Sherman just shot off the mudflap.

The T-34-85 at 5.7 has slightly better turret armour and a slightly faster reload, so a .7 br increase seems a bit much, but when that's said, the 5.0 model needs a higher br anyway. I use them both when i take out a lineup for 6.3 and it's just fine

@@benjaminpont220 only way to kill and agled tiger it the coupola mean while your whole profile it a weakspot for them or a panther at range. the only reason it does very good at 5.0 as german players forgot the brain dlc. if they decided to do that tiger and panther would probably move to to 5.7 maybe dare i say 6.0.

The .50 on the Sherman also comes in clutch quite often. I still love my T-34s though, just perfect workhorses.

Now I'm going to say, "IT SEEMS LIKE A SHERMAN!" every time I see one.

Before Cheat-FS and APDS my perfect lineup was the Is-1, T34-85 (D5T), and KV-85 absolute money printer lineup.

Easiest way to kill the m19 and the dusters is to hit their turret ring. All of their ammo is stored in a circle around that area, with no armor.

To answer your question about why the 5.7 T-34-85 is that high above the 5.0 T-34-85 at a glance, the 5.7 one appears to have thicker turret armour.

It also has a slightly faster reload... but I don't think it's worth a .7 BR increase, .3 sure. The extra turret armor sounds nice until you realize you just need to shoot the T-34 chassis to kill it from any angle

You get an extra crew member in the 5.7 T-34-85 hence survivability is better, that combined with the shell are largely the reason for the BR differnce, not that I agree with it.

This is the reason the Gay T-34 in the Chinese tech tree might be the best tank in-game for the BR, because it gets access to a DShK on top of being a T-34-85.

Playing in the shadows then realizing the Enemy turned off shadows 😂

if you ask me, The M4A2 is more in line with the 5.0 T-34-85 but because of Gaijin's absurd ballancing, it's at 5.3 for no real reason.

Phly, T-34-57 is at 4.7 I would consider better than the 85. Similar pen, faster reload, better br. Only downside is less filler. I generally suck at tanks, but I go to town everytime I play the 57.

5.0 T34 has a much weaker turret, weak enough to let SPAA through it. The one at 5.7 has 90mm base armour

I'm sure phly knows but it comes in handy to have a 3 or 4 HE rounds for any open tops

I’d only take the Sherman because of the .50 cal, so useful especially at those lower tiers against aircraft, light tanks, tracking vehicles
