Most of these songs are bonus tracks, Cheap Ludes, A Strange Loop, and Tourettes. If you don't already have the deluxe edition pick up the 4 song "Salem 7" on record store day…

Saw them at warp this year and it was awesome

You've probably figured it out by now, but in case you haven't: it's A Strange Loop. It didn't make it on From Parts Unknown, not even the deluxe edition, but it's on Salem EP.

Paper/tape/foam stops the strings ringing behind the nut, can create really high ringing notes which are unwanted

their style has always been tasty creative riffs and grooves rather than solos. but i agree, if they added sick solos, that would push the instrumental aspect of this band into a whole new realm of awesomeness

The closest thing to that reality is probably Protest the Hero's earlier albums. Being a fan of both bands I wish there was some fluidity between the two sounds, but they're successful because of their trademark styles.
