I've really enjoyed seeing your thoughts on all these masks, and even if we don't see eye to eye on some of the designs and your ranking of them its still super interesting to see all the masks and your take on them.

Forsure, I don't think anyone would quite agree fully with my rankings. But yeah glad you're still enjoying it. And your comment was so insightful and came at the right time (before I recorded my final four videos in one day, Tuesday), that I thought it would be awesome to have on here.

The word you were looking for is sheen. Its getting harder to pick a favorite now, im gonna have to give it to Samsonov's St Pats throwback. The green just looks awsome. Georgiev's Dot Tech is a very close second. For just 205,000$ you could have a new mask for each of the 82 games

Also yes sheen is a good word for it. I eventually recognized the word 'matte' before finishing recording the series, though.

The finish on the Raanta maks is more of a textured matte. Polished is shiny. Also, you should watch the Office.

Yeah I found the word 'matte' before recording the top 100 haha. However, I still used the word polish. :p But you're right, when I think of polish, I think of shining up a vehicle. And haha I did try at one point. My wife tried getting me into it. And maybe it was just the episodes she chose, but yeah... wasn't for me.

Swayman also had Ted Williams and Curt Schilling on it, in addition to Big Papi.

Mama we made it! I appreciate you including my comment, it was supposed to be more sarcastic/satire, I certainly agree w you I just think it’s wild a goalie making millions would WANT such a plain mask. To each their own I suppose

That office mask - ouch! - even as a fan of the series I am surprised how much I don't like that mask.

The goalies don't have to pay for the mask or paint job but they choose simple things for easy recognition from afar
