I guess that's the problem with learning how to shred. It seems very hard to stop doing it when you know how to. I don't get why he uses that guitar to test pedals, especially the quite horrid tapped sound. I know it's his guitar but he must know it's not a "standard guitar" sound at all.

Has anyone else noticed how great the Fender pedals sound? When I first saw that Fender was coming out with a new pedal line my brain said if they make guitars as great as Strat’s, Tele’s and Jazzmasters and their amps are classics as well...then their pedals should be amazing too. But I dismissed them and went for more established pedals when I made purchases. Now I’m regretting not going with my instinct. There’s a demo vid which showcases their MGT Tube Drive which sounds incredible

@@robertjennings8723 you need to have someone a little more familiar with what shapes a sound and how a pedal interacts with that fiddling with these if you want an honest representation. This video was essentially "what pedals are good for specifically Rob Chapman when set to 12", but obviously it was just to showcase every pedal. Basically, you get Dan from That Pedal Show in Lee's seat and they would probably end up loving every one of these pedals.

7:14 got me good And 8:03 OH COME ON IT'S ONE OF THE BEST OVERDRIVES EVER. You just need to run it into a mildly crunchy amp or turn the gain all the way up, since it's actually a wet mix knob and not really gain.

I've been binging a lot of Andertons videos recently and I must say I'd love for you guys to include a room mic mixed in under the main guitar mic so we can get a better idea of what C&C are actually hearing. Ola Englund has done something similar to great effect.

That was a journey. Within a few seconds of hearing the Vemuram Shanks I was saying oh yeah that one, that sounds great. Then I saw it was $400 and had a sad. Then the Pugilist, which I have with the Fender pedal reviews here at Andertons bringing it to my attention, also hit top 3. So I've got that going for me, which is nice.

For me, the surprise "No!" (and a surprise to the Captain, too, I think) was the JHS AT "@" Andy Timmons pedal. Sounded great through the Grados I'm listening on!

the hudson electronic broadcast pedal sounded more fuzzy than anything else but my god the Tube and Transistor by Union was a bigger fuzz than that one and now i stand corrected cos the Old Blood Noise Endeavors is the fuzziest of the bunch, it sounds like a zvex fuzz factory that's gone wrong

The problem with that pedal was in general that they used the fuzz side of the pedal. The OD is one of a kind

They did the Haunt pretty dirty. It's at its best with the mix knob moved to full. That and a little bit of its gate knob and most of the gain makes a super hellish fuzz. I don't think Rob would've liked it as an overall pedal for Dorje or Clockwork Wolf, but it's an incredible fuzz
