Legends ARC troopers were a different breed. Even the commandos were weary of them. Hell even the ARC troopers are called to rescue the jedi from grievous in the old clone wars. You wanted something done with efficiency, you called them

Along with Maze from the Spec Ops brigade and ARCs trooper Muzzle and Aven

The Muunilist 10 Arc troopers that fought on Hypori are by far the coolest of them all. Not only did they use the best tactics and coolest weaponry, they came from the best Star Wars show to ever be released. I dropped a fat $400 collecting and customizing all 10 Arcs and the tiger stripe gunship. So worth it.

In a Star Wars 5e campaign, I'm playing an old Alpha class ARC Trooper, designation 95 but better known as Reiver. A Sharpshooter and Scout with skills nearly matching that of Crosshair, he was a member of the Muunilinst 10 alongside Alpha-77 aka Fordo sent to first subjugate the Separatist Banking Clans and then to extract the surviving Jedi on Hypori. In his younger days, he dual wielded DC-17 heavy pistols with deadly efficiency, even managing to destroy tanks and Dwarf Spiders with meticulously aimed shots, but as he grew older, that old run-and-gun style fell out of favour for him so he traded them out for a silent Xerrol Nightstinger rifle, which he ironically christened the 'Hammer of Glory' (a little Gloryhammer reference for any of you who listen to that band). In the Imperial era, he later met with a Mandalorian named Rune Piett, estranged daughter of the Imperial admiral Firmus Piett and, after a year of bounty adventures with Rune and a revolving door cast of characters, from a vibrobattleaxe wielding Wookie Berserker clad in durasteel to a clueless Echani Jedi Sentinel, Reiver himself followed in the footsteps of his donor Jango Fett and became a Mandalorian, inheriting Boba's armour after the latter was killed by the Starkiller clone (yeah, a lot of things happened that dramatically altered the timeline and now we're the main characters).

5:58 Bit of an incorrect statement here, as ARC trooper isn't a rank, it's a position. ARC troopers still fit into the basic GAR rank system (i.e. sergeants, lieutenants, captains, commanders, and all of the other various ranks in between) so an ARC trooper that held the rank of captain would not hold any command over a regular infantry captain just because he's an ARC, and both the ARC captain and the infantry captain would be equals when it comes to the chain of command. That's not to say that ARCs didn't get special treatment sometimes, though, as the Null and Alpha ARCs were often looked to for orders by regular infantry clones, even if said infantry clone officially outranked the ARC in question.

Except the Alpha and Null Arc’s are genetically superior clones to regular infantry Clones or CC clones, even their brains were designed to be unaltered and independent. They also weren’t affected by Order 66 as they had free wills, after Order 66 they just decided to choose their own paths, i believe most of them didn’t comply with the order. So the position of an Arc Captain or an Alpha Arc Captain a bit different to the position of a regular infantry Captain

@@lucasgrandemange9190 You can find nearly all of the stories about the Null ARCs and a few stories about the Alpha ARCs in the Republic Commando novels by Karen Traviss (Republic commando Hard Contact, Republic Commando Triple Zero, Republic Commando True Colors, Republic Commando Order 66, and Imperial Commando 501st).

@lucasgrandemange9190 No problem. I highly recommend these novels as, at least in my opinion, they Republic Commando books are some of the best Clone Wars era stories to come our of Legends.

Fives has been and will continue to be my favorite ARC trooper.

Captain Fordooooooooooooooooo i freakin grew up with that clone wars series more so than the other one and he'll always be my favorite bad*ss!!!

I love Arc Trooper Lieutenant Jesse because he is Rex’s Lieutenant and the last friend Rex had left and it was so sad that Jesse died during order 66 in the finale episode of Star Wars the clone wars Victory and Death and I really wished that Jesse and the other clone troopers survived during order 66 and gotten there inhibitor chips removed because if they got their inhibitor chips removed they would be alive and Rex would still have his battalion of the 332nd company and they would have been in awesome battles together in Star Wars The Bad Batch and Star Wars Rebels too.

Jesse and his handsome men carried out order 66 and tried to kill the traitors to the republic. And Rex is a traitor, betrayed the Republic and helped the Jedi escape, and also through his indirect fault, an entire cruiser with its entire crew and the 332nd regiment was destroyed. There are no chips, the clones were raised in such a way that they would even rip each other’s throats out for the republic.

Mine fav ARC trooper is Echo, because of his interesting story, an armour

A minor correction on Valiant, his purpose in the Labyrinth of Evil story shortly before ROTS was to search for Darth Sidious in the underground tunnels of Coruscant, not knowing he was actually Palpatine. However the search was called off when the Battle of Coruscant began.
